Mathesar will truly be missed. He was a warm, friendly gentleman who always had a smile and to know him was to enjoy him. I'm sorry I can't be in Vegas for this nice tribute. R.I.P.
As most of you are aware by now, one of the true pioneers of our community, Mathesar, passed away while visiting me here in Las Vegas on February 10. He was in the process of relocating from California when a series of strokes took him from us.
A true pioneer in the field of Space Exploration, Mathesar was best known on TER for his publication of The Mathesar Report, his reputation as a true OG Hobbyist as well as being a frequent presence at Meet n Greets in LA Phoenix and Las Vegas.
Those of us who knew him best will be gathering to Celebrate the Life of our dear friend;

I remember "The Mathesar Report" and he even did a personal report for me. I enjoyed corresponding with him, as he was extremely intelligent. He will be missed, by many!

Mathesar was an exceptional human being. He was loyal & dedicated to his friends, passionate, highly intelligent with a witty sense of humor as well as honesty and integrity, a mathematical genius and unfailingly kind.
He was a Wizard among men (a title that he was always too humble to accept) but nevertheless true.
He was well loved and will be dearly missed.
