BDJ has people of color. Brynn is a fine provider and I had a wonderful time.  They also have asian providers.  Before you play the race card get your facts straight. And since this is not a Govt agency I believe they can set any policy for themselves that they desire.

When I initially made contact with the agency for the first time for an appointment there were no indications of racist attitudes and all went well in setting up an appointment as far as scheduling and directions to the location and the experience was O.K. However during my subsequent attempts to schedule an appointment with other ladies at BDJ I quickly found out that  there was a race problem at the agency. Kim and the other phone personnel would always ask me what was my race and tell me that the girls I had wanted to see did not provide for men of color. Kim said it was not her fault because that was the girl's preference. However what made me very suspicious of this agency was when Kim told me that a particular provider at Belle De Jour whom I had previously seen and had a great time with did not see men of color. How can that be? This particular girl and I hit it off well and there were no racial issues at all. During my session with this girl there was the usual acronyms (DFK, BBBJTC, and Covered Full Service). She had been the second girl I had seen at Belle De Jour. I confronted kim with the fact that I had previously seen this girl and had a good time and ,Again, there was no indications of any racial issues. Kim gives me a BS explanation that the girl no longer sees black guys as she stumbled over her words in her inconsistent explanation and tells me she did not want to argue over the telephone. Given this fact I now suspect that the attitudes towards certain racial groups is not confined to just a few girls in the agency but exist thru out the agency itself. This agency definitely has a race problem. Kin and I ended the conversation with the understanding that I will not be using her agency again. Later that night I took my business elsewhere and scheduled with an independent provider who was Caucasian. We discussed the hobby and race and she thought it was rediculous and encouraged me to post this issue on the discussion board after I had told her about TER. The only color that should matter is "green" if the client is respectful and pays for the service and especially if the client has used a particular service before. Don't try to tell me that a girl I have seen before and had a good time with now all of a sudden doesn't see someone of my race. It just doesn't make sense. I noticed that Bell De Jour has no Black or Asian providers. If an agency doesn't have variety than that is sometimes an indication of possible racial exclusions. Maybe Kim should start posting which racial groups her girls excludes. Better yet, maybe TER should indicate any racial preferences in each provier's profile to save some hobbyists from a call. Just comes to show even in a "Business" like this racism exists.

It is true that as a private business they can decide not to do business with certain races.  And as prospective clients we can decide not to business with them because they have racist policies.

If a girl or agency chooses not to see you because of your race, you should be thankful for their honesty and move on to another provider.  It would be nice to live in a color-blind society, but we don't, and given that fact, why would you want to spend time with a lady who's prejudice?  I can't imagine that would be a good session.

On the issue of BDJ, I'm a person of color and have never had a similar experience with Kim or any of her ladies.  I hope there's more to this story because I hope to have a long and fruitful relationship with BDJ.

No one is playing the race card, they told him they would not see him b/c of his race.  So before you open your mouth know what you are talking about.

I've only used them once, and have only used agencies a couple of times, so I won't speculate on whether they're racist or not.  However, I will say when I talked to the phone girl that she asked me what I looked like, which I found very odd for an agency.  If anything, I would've expected that question from an independent (and I've never received that question from an indie).  I am a person of color, and was able to see the girl.  However, I am not black, so perhaps the fact that I was able to see her is not relevenat here.

it is not kim's fault. you can not order a girl to see a guy. they do have asian provider, tyler. sorry to hear about your loss though.

Apache7............I find it odd that you knock BDJ with an Alias...........It seems that when there is a problem and the plaintiff posts with an Alias, it is not as believable as it would be by posting with a real handle.....This is just a general statement.......When posting with an Alias, it's just so hard to believe real from fake, or right from wrong....

By the way, Brynn (the BDJ girl with color) got my highest rating.........(we'll, tied with Jill but I didn't right that review yet)

I second the idea that TER should provide an option where reviewers would indicate that providers do not see men of certain races.  This would be a great convenience to guys seeking a provider. It would save the guy the trouble of having to indicate his race or showing up and finding out the provider does not see certain races/ethnicities. Isn't that the whole point of TER to make hobbying more enjoyable?

I tried to post this to the suggestions board but it was never posted. Makes me wonder...

I think this subject is like the federal gov't leaving certain issues up to the states, if you know What I mean.  Why open up a can of worms.

I don't see why this would open a can of worms. Providers who don't see men of color or what ever other criteria they have (age for example) would be saved the trouble of being contacted by men who they won't see.  THose in the hobby could skip over this provider if they fall into a category she does not see. Guys who think it is the provider's right to see who they want would care less. Guys who would not want to see a provider who discriminates would have that option.  Some providers might prefer that it not be known that they discriminate based on race, age, etc. But TER is designed to assist those in the hobby, not the providers. Or is only certain guys?

When I ran an agency I encountered this very problem. The way I looked at it was that if I had a girl that worked for me who didnt want to see men of color, then why send her to see a guy who is obviously not going to enjoy his session. There was always 2 or 3 girls who had their preferences(nice word for it huh?). Then someone (rightly so) pointed out to me that it was my agency and it was up to me to make the policy. At first I thought if I made it an across the board policy about things like seeing all races and providing 2 cups and staying the entire hr some girls might walk. Well I did make it my policy and I probably did have 1 or 2 walk but I more than made up for it in business for men who wanted to deal with not being asked their race, or nationality (sure it sounds nicer but guys are not dumb they know what we are referring to) who wanted to deal with a non discrimatory agency as well as have certain things guaranteed as far as services. Most girls that are looking to work for an agency if they are told straight off the bat that these are our rules no exceptions will either accept it or they wont, usually I found these were the kind of girls I didnt want working for me anyway, so in the long run it saved me headaches.

I do feel that as a client you guys have a right to see who you want. I do feel that if your a provider that has problems with certain races personally, then your in the wrong business. Hey as long as a guy can afford my rate I don't care if he is purple (although that might afford me a bit too much attention at the hotel) I also feel that a woman does have a right to refuse ANYONE service, but don't base it strictly on color, base it on rudeness, or he smells bad, or you just get a bad feeling from him. On another note I used to have several women of color who were great providers but because of their skin color they always made less money than caucation providers who were not as good service wise as the woc. Thats a form of rasism too! Works both way! Sure you guys have the right to select what your preferences are because your paying, but on the same nore give the girls of color some play because it's a fact that they don't nearly get as much business as the other girls and this is sad because there are many many good providers out there that are women of color. Just something to think about.
Bottom line: It's up to the agency to set the standards for their girls to follow and work by, not the girls. If they can't hack iot then let them become independents. Why would you want a girl that is refusing to see black guys ruin your good name is beyond me, is she really worth it so much to loose clients that have certain morals no matter what color they might be? And believe me this issue piises off alot of white guys just as it does the black guys. Just my experience on this very issue. I learned the hard way I hope you don't have to.

apache i know exaclty what you are going through i encountered the same situation when i first entered the hobby and was very disturbed by it.  what bothered me the most was that in this day and age and especially this hobby where all that should matter is the green that people can still have issues about skin.  and just like now i encountered many posters and providers that said it was their right to choose. VERY TRUE BUT, it what must be understood is that to be discriminated against for what ever reason is not fun at all. i have always wondered what it would be like for someone to who is not a person of color to be discrimintated against by a provider and would they still hold strong to the providers right to refuse.  now mind you i have heard reasons for providers reufsing to see clients for numerous reasons. eg. weight, penis size, career and refusal to submit credit information.

basically Apache i say move on and dont look back. there are ALOT of white, black, asian, latina, purple blue providers out there that will probably surpass the experience u would have had with this broad from BDJ. but i know that it is a bitter pill to swallow trust me i have been there.........
