Well I think this is all nonsense. At least one hobbyist who wrote Kathy's review I know and he is quite reliable. Also, even superficial scan of Kathy's first two reviewers would show their reviews of other  providers being very much in line with those providers' other reviews and that by the way includes Tabie who actually got raving reviews including one from the hobbyist that reviewed Kathy.

But I did notice one thing too however. Every time a young pretty independent provider appears on our horizon who doesn't charge exuberant amount of money (i.e. $200/hour range or less) and gets raving reviews there always going to be an anonymous poster posting something nasty about her after 3 or 4 good reviews.

Remember Mercedes from NH, also an independent young pretty provider that charged $200/hour and got great reviews?

There are plenty of ladies on this forum that offer their services without protection. Why do you ask go after that particular one, Mercedes? I'd say most of those posters are pimps or other providers trying to smear their younger competition. Maybe even she refused to work with some of them or see some of them - I've no idea but the pattern should be quite clear to everybody.

I don't know anything about the above, but Kathy is definitely a fake and a scam. When you email her, you get her automatic message. When you email her again to further the conversation, you get another automatic message. Trying to further a conversation only results in her responding with the same pre-written reply. It's clear she is not a real person but rather a scam.

I saw a review on a provider that was pretty good.. I went to her web site.. she was very nice looking. She had a total of three reviews on TER.. Two of them were form reviewers with no other reviews..
Per her web site, she prefers email contact.. OK.. I sent her an email. I asked for two hours.. for our first meeting and told her the time of day and the date an so on.

I got a very fast reply with very specific info about what is on her menu.. (CIM, BBBJ, MSOG, etc..) . I replied and told her that I had changed my mind. She put specific stuff in her email about specific acts and it freaked me out. She's not P411 approved.. for all I know it's a trolling exercise by LEO.. Am I being too cautious? She appears to be a new provider (all 3 reviews were just in the last month or less)..
This is the first time I have felt that I should back away from something.. what do you think? I NEVER put specifics like that in writing. It went against every rule that I follow about no specific discussion.. and so on.. I feel awful that I approached her then backed away..

Odds are that she is just a novice, and doesn't realize that mentioning sex acts is taboo, but you don't owe her a lesson on the subject either.

I would do that same as you.

I don't think so.  The response is way too forward.  Better safe than sorry.

You should check the reviewers and see how many reviews they have done and I'd send them a email asking about her . If the reviewers are well established your all set if not run.

two of the three were TER members that had very few (like 1) review.. Not enough for me to trust.. Pretty easy for LEO to spoof a legit member .. was my worry..

If you were a jerk, you would have called her out for being so indiscrete.

It's tough to prove a negative, but you did what many, many guys here would simply say was prudent. I wouldn't second guess myself if I were you.

One piece of potentially useful advice would be to keep an eye on her, if she starts getting favorable reviews from credible reviewers, you can always come back to her.

Ditto.

I suspect I know who you are talking about and I think you really made a rushed decision. Moreover if she already screened you by then, she'd feel perfectly safe to get into the dirty detail and if she didn't, that's her business anyway. I actually very much appreciate honesty, especially if somebody already has reviews from 3  hobbyists, two of which appear reasonably trustworthy.

I don't think you acted like a jerk since ladies expect many prospective dates flaking out on them but if I'd be you, I'd email her from another e-mail address, use other name and make an appointment for an hour. I bet now if you say 2 hours she'd quickly put 2 and 2 together. Or even better e-mail her again, apologize and promise that you won't be flaking out on her this time. Chances are she'd "take you back" :)

Why would I hope that she would "take me back"..? I never had her and vice versa.. nothing really has changed.. as an absolute.. If I have not been with someone I would never put specifics in writing.. I don't even do that when I HAVE been with somebody..
As Nichole pointed out there are lots of girls to choose from.. we don't need someone to "take us back".. I have nothing against her.. but just not my style even if she is legit.

trust your gut feeling. I always live by this. If your gut is telling you to back off, then by all means follow that instinct.

well I go with it its always right

there are so many women here to choose from cross her off the list and move on to someone who makes you feel safe
and have FUN! after all thats what we are all here for right !!!

I too saw the reviews, the pictures, the unbelievably low rate, and I reached out. Got the auto-response. And then she asks for a verification from EscortChex which claims to be free and yet needs your credit card.

She has three reviews. The reviewers all have ONLY reviewed providers from Jan 2015 onward. If you read their reviews, they all seem to be written by the same person, and are sometimes uncharacteristic of the providers they are reviewing. I noticed this because one of them reviewed my long term ATF and real life BFF Tabie, and the way the reviewer described the session is something that I know would never happen.

For further reference, here are two threads that basically say the same thing about the site.

http://www.theeroticreview.com/discussion_boards/viewmsg.asp?MessageID=763118&boardID=12&page=1

https://www.theeroticreview.com/discussion_boards/viewmsg.asp?MessageID=750402&boardID=12&page=7

Absolute FAKE. I wrote to all three reviewers and asked if each of them paid the "authorization" fee. I heard nothing but crickets from any of them.

I answered the same ad and got the same auto reply.  Followed up with a question and heard nothing  back from the provider.  If it soinds to be good to be true than it usually is

post that...  I got a PM today from someone that told me about the prior thread.. so it seems that my gut feeing was correct.. but for the wrong reasons..
