Hi- first week of May, spending two nights for an event at the Gold Coast...was debating staying at Rio instead..would have to go back and forth a lot but from what I can tell, Rio is about same price and much nicer, and only a 5 minute walk?
i was hoping to have a late night visits both nights.. is one better than the other for entertaining late night visitors as far as security goes?
this is a first time for me with such things..and havent been to vegas in over 10 years..

I would go with the Rio the rooms are nicer than the gold coast.
The rooms in both hotels do show a bit if wear don't forget to try Ping Pang Pong in the gold coast.
A really good Chinese restaurant.
Both hotels do not have security at the elevators so it should not be an issue having company.

They have some "updated" rooms and new restaurants.
I personally love their Sea Food Buffet. Yum
