Not from my home phone or my cell phone or even my hotel room phone. I was just curious if it could be traced or does it just get activated and that's that??

I'm pretty sure that almost every call can be traced no matter what, unless you're paying for some sort of special untraceable service. Even with *67 to block CID there are still 911 requirements in place that would have a record of the call. Sounds like you limited the likelihood of any phone that could be connected to you, though. If you found a public phone that worked and used it only once, I can't see any connection. If you used a phone like google voice or some other VoIP service, a savvy pi could track it down, I think.
But somebody would have to REALLY want to find you, if you aren't connected to a murder or kidnapping you should be fine.
I don't think too many agencies will be coming after you if you stiff a provider on her (or his lol) tip.

OK I wasen't COMPLETELY HONEST with everyone. I was home alone and saw a girl on Ashley Madison. She was close and online so we chatted and she said call me. I ran to walmart, got a tracfone and gave her a call. I used my own cell phone to activate it. After talking to this girl I kinda got the feeling something was off with her. I don't know if she was tweeked on something, higher than a fuckin kite or just a little different. Her conversation was all over the place. What kinda music and movies do I like, then how wet she is, do I like going to casinos, how she likes to kiss and neck. If she wasen't on speed or something else what if she's "special" I don't want her to tell her state appointed guardian about her new friend that she met online. Sure the tracfone can't be traced to me but what about the phone that activated the number? Just don't want the fuckin cops at my door cause I tried to take advantage of a vunerable adult. Kinda made me think ya know.

LE can find your phone (if the number in known) by using "Stingray". This technology would more likely used to locate providers
