I joined TER in 2005, but didn't become a VIP until 2011 which is when I started my hobby.

After my divorce, I got a VIP membership and haven't looked back. The last 6 months of my marriage was sexless, so I was very ready. Went on TER found an amazing lady in a city that I was traveling to on business. I read her site, found out which screening service she preferred, joined that service, got screened and set up a date. The day prior to our date, her assistant called to inform me that she had just came home from an overseas trip and that she was experiencing jet lag and thought it best to cancel as she wanted to give me the best service or none at all. I told her assistant, ok but now I can't get screened on such short notice with another lady, so the assistant says well we know a lady that she does doubles with and I can call her and vouch for you. Amazingly, this other lady was one of the ladies that I had been deciding between when I was making my original plans. So of course I called her and set up the date for the original time and date. So she calls me about an hour prior to our date to ask if I want out or in, I said either is fine, she says well I'm at XXXXXXX hotel, and coincidentally so was I, so my first ever hobby experience was an outcall that I rode an elevator to get to. It was perfect.

The original lady called me personally the next day to apologize for having to cancel. I told her that I understood, and we made a date for 2 weeks later and she more than made it up to me. I've seen her 3 times since.
