... do the "she's much prettier/more beautiful/even sexier in person" comments in your reviews bother you? Is Aldo really the only person offering discreet, sensual photos professional marketing in this hobby? Does cost drive the decision to keep most ad images bathroom selfies — or is it modesty?

I used to shoot for a living — and the answer I got the only time I inquired was "I hate photos of myself." I'm not looking to drum up business (I have the camera/lenses/etc — but do not have a studio), I'm just generally curious.

Not to put too fine a point on this — but from what I've seen, those who take time and care with their professional marketing materials — especially the images — tend to be more in demand, which places a higher value on their time. Gentlemen — feel free to chime in here, too.

The way I see it, I am not posing for Hustler, or Cosmopolitan. I am marketing "ME" The "REAL" me. Pro pics more often tend to stray from reality. Even untouched if the photographer is good at angles (S)he can make a gal appear 10+ pounds lighter & a decade younger than what you'll find behind the door. That's not my goal. When a gent arrives I want to hear "you look just like your pics" or of course "you look better." Anything less would result in disappointment leading to either a walkout, or a horrible experience for both of us. (a gal can sense a lack of chemistry)

I am toying with getting pro pics at least once before I retire but it's more for the fun & experience of doing something different. Who knows if I'll ever use them for advertising purposes. (Never say never) It depends I suppose on how close to reality the pics would be. I'm also quite camera shy so yes indeed I would need someone who is professional & can help me feel at ease.

IMO not using a pro to date hasn't hurt my business in the least. In fact I find it has enhanced it. Gents that take the plunge after seeing EXACTLY what they're getting into & it matches up to who they get are pleasantly surprised & not only do we enjoy an amazing experience together, I find we have begun a hawt & friendly ongoing journey to boot. That is my primary goal.

So no, those comments don't bother me at all; wouldn't you rather be pleasantly surprised than otherwise? And I have Aldo pics! He isn't the only photographer out there, but I do love shooting with him. He's great at his work and he makes me feel like a princess. What more could a girl ask for?

I basically agree with you comments.  I know there are providers who advertise with photos that are not of them, let alone an idealized version with perfect hair/makeup/nails/angles/lighting.

The other perspective is that many hobbyists are in pursuit of a fantasy.  They want to be with a woman they would have absolutely no shot at without the hobby.

I still care how they look & am careful -or try to be- that the background isn't too busy or anything like that.
I strongly agree with basically everything LeAnn said....much better to be pleasantly surprised.....
Having never got professionals done in my life & seeing some girlfriends get "glamor shots" back in the day....
led me to start really wanting professionals done entirely for the experience.....(long b4 I entered hobbyland)

well then I joined this world & have admired the hundreds of Aldo photo's & I'm curious how many other gals feel like this about Aldo.....his emblem (watermark) is on the "creme de la creme" of high class gals so having him at this point would be the type of thrill that .........say........some Louis Vuitton would bring.
So then comes the debate I got into with a seasoned hobbyist about  the downsides of Aldo, he was so adamant that I be aware of what some thought of Aldo he suggested that I search TER to find out what people think of him...well it turns out a lot of people think Aldo is synonymous with photo shop in so many peoples mind.

I hate that & of course being one to objectively think for myself I know that the amount of photo shopping is dependent on what the gal requests.......& actually the hobbyist friend if mine knows that too, he just wanted me to be aware....so I think this is a really good topic & I'm glad to give my thoughts on it.
I may still try to book with Aldo when he's in town-but I will always be one for selfies,
as I feel they are more true to life. =)

but then again you can't see my face so one can only imagine... the guys comments really help those who can't quite decide. The cost of pro photos can be very reasonable now a days so that isn't a factor for me... but I do not like typical photoshopping and only want to blur my face and watermark. I like that my photos are realistic in that way (not photoshopped) and I do take a myriad of selfies... but I love modeling so am leaning more toward being behind professional lens in the future!

There is something to be said for selfies but BAD selfies are not good for business! Sometimes its best to let someone else point the camera :)

Talia has a great photographer... Just saying:-)

the providers who have a professional photo or a very well done photos enhances their appeal and
marketability. I take a higher interest if the photos are well done. If the image quality is poor you
are left to using your imagination, not a good idea. More providers should use their own photos and
use the various techniques to hide their face if they want. Too many profiles are passed up because
of unprofessional presentations, or just fake pics which are now easy to spot.

we have all seen photos that belong on jay leno's 'headlines'.  I have seen a batch of photos where the entire picture is a non descript selfies of a butt in blue jeans.  Others with children's toys and diapers on the floor.  What are they thinking?

A simple photo that shows the whole person and an idea of your shape and size is all I need to see.  I respect the decision to obscure the face in the name of discretion and safety, an honest view of who you are is all I need.  High end photos are actually a negative for me but everyone has there own preference.  each of us is attracted to different looks and styles, if the photos let me know who I am meeting then I go to the reviews.

I do want to have an idea; are you 4'8" or 6'6', blond and fair skin or dark hair and dark skin, 90lbs or 190lbs and are you 18 or 58. country girl or punk rocker.
I think I speak for most if I said I am interested in knowing height, weight, shape and personal style.  be yourself and let me know what you can about you, save the razzel dazzel for in person meeting.

I also think the ladies should have some idea about us.  Same criteria; am I 120lbs or 420.  I am very comfortable telling a future contact what ever she wants to know about me.
I hope my thoughts are helpful ladies.

Finding out she is noticeably better than her pics is definitely a bonus but the downside to that can be if the pics are really bad, fewer guys call.

The one thing about glamor pics and the like is that the style alone serves as a warning that there may have been photoshopping.  Of course, this is when accurate reviews are very helpful.

but I hope to dispel the notion that better quality photos are in any way deceptive. Photography was my first "hobby" (I had a darkroom and rolled my own film back in the day), so my perspective is probably a bit different.

If guys think that Aldo is doing a disservice to the hobby by making sure the lighting is just so ... or directing poses that flatter, or accentuate assets — he's not. I think you can keep it real — AND keep it in focus. Cameras in your phone — and a halfway decent digital SLR are world's apart when it comes to the final image.

I'm still getting to know folks and putting together my wish list — and while I've read a LOT of reviews since buying my VIP access — a photo is still worth a thousand words. Just my opinion.

I have been criticized over my "selfies" on my various ads and websites...so recently ive has a friend take some pics for me (not peofessionally, just to get other/better angles), but I think selfies and "homemade" images can still look really nice and classy when care is being put into taking them. Theres a big difference between a girl's dirty bathroom mirror toilet in the background selfie, and a nicely laid out selife like the ones typically presented by the providers on ter.

I Also have to agree wirh Leann and Mindy...i think the homemade pics show a very realistic representation of what a provider truly looks like, no professional lighting or staging etc.

I love the look of the professional photos and i think it would be really fun to do a shoot, but I think I will always keep some selfies in rotation for the reasons discussed above.

I think its all a matter of how images are presented...and both types of photos can aid in successful advertising.

I want to see how the ladies really look plain and simple!  Yes, Aldo images are great photos but we are going to see that!

Ladies - Keep It Real!!  Not Fake and Made Up.

I would say yes ... Most of my pics (from Aldo) is what you would see .... I do my own makeup and pick out the clothes, hair is the same and the poses, yes you will see that ... Maybe not my legs up on the headboard lol ... Well maybe ;)

I for one think all of the pics I have seen of you look great!

I use several types such as professional photos, selfies and pictures taken by friends ... I have full body, partial body and close ups ... I also have some photoshopped slightly, some not at all and some edited for artistic effect.

Ilet Sue is a good example. She has a bunch of different ones including videos. She normally updates regularly which is nice

I have seen lots of crappy professional photos, and some really nice selfies. I would rather see untouched photos instead of airbrushed/photoshopped photos. They give you a better idea of what you will see. I looked a wwomans photos and her whole belly was airbrushed to cover up stretch marks. If I would have seen those I would have never went to see her.
