I rarely look at Eros, my primary sources are ads on TER and P411. While I do have RS2K I have only used it once and have not renewed my DC, I have a hard time finding the value in them for me.

Eros:  The first provider I met was introduced to me via an Eros listing. I still examine the listings to this day. Thus, I feel that it is a valuable advertising resource for both providers and hobbyists.

RoomService2000:  I had no credentials (i.e., references) when I met my first provider. Although she verified me via employment information, I felt more comfortable securing a RoomService2000 membership (for her security). As mentioned by yourself, RoomService2000 is the standard verification method between Chicago-area providers and hobbyists. The implicit trust between providers and Cathy (the owner of RoomService2000) is remarkable. Thus, I feel that it is a very valuable verification resource for both providers and hobbyists.

Contrary Positions:  Providers sometimes complain that Eros is only interested in the advertising fees that they can gather from providers. However, at least one provider has told me their fees are very reasonable. Hobbyists sometimes complain about the extent of personal information that needs to be disclosed in order to process a RoomService2000 membership. The providers that I have met that solely verified me via RoomService2000 requested an examination of my driver's license in order to establish that I was the person that had been screened for the session. A segment of hobbyists may not be comfortable affording a provider the opportunity to know real-life identification details about the hobbyist they are meeting for a session.

I'd call it one option among many.  Many escorts do fine without advertising on it.  RS2000 doesn't seem to be used much outside of Chicago.

the number of ads is a seasonal - minnesota issue. If it follows other years the number will double by summer. Can you blame any provider for not wanting to visit the tundra in the winter

Aside from the well reviewed providers on Eros, it seems to have more than its share of ones I don't trust. Nto nearly as bad as BP, but too many questionable ads. If I see someone on Eros I always look for them on TER or P411 or don't call. TER and P411 are my first go-to sources, with Slixa now taking 3rd over Eros.
