Of the six times I've used BDJ, 3 appointments got rescheduled with no explanation at the last minute. They have no consideration that my time is valuable also. This is a problem I've never experienced with any other agency.
I had used BDJ in the past and had seen Shauna back when she was providing and never had a bad experience with them until today. I set up an appt with the 'Legendary Jill' while she was in my area. I set up a time and confirm it this afternoon. I called later to find out more information. Nothing seem out of the ordinary. I called 10 mins prior to my appt. And was told I was early and that she will call back in 10 mins. I waited 10 mins and then another 10 mins. I called but got a busy signal, so I waited some more. About 15 mins after my scheduled time, I got thru and was told that Jill was unavailable for another hour and that there was problem getting thru to my cellphone - even though I had it on and nothing happen. Shauna asked if I could wait until then or see another person. I declined on both. I called back later and got someone else and said that there was nothing on Jill schedule even though I had an appt. She asked if I could see her later but told her I could - she ok and hang up.
This episode left a bad taste in my mouth about BDJ and there concerns about customer satisfaction. I guess business is so good that they have too much business and don't care about disappointing a customer. I hope that Shauna does see this and respond back to me. But for now, I will go elsewhere.

I checked your review list. They are impressive so I don't doubt
what you said. I have used BDJ and fortunately never had any problem. As a matter of fact I saw Jill on wed the 19th with no hitch at all. I can only imagine your disappointment.
I Really don't think that Kim has to explain herself.. Her reputation speaks for herself. I don't think she is getting to big for her boots and I want to believe there was a terrible mistake made. But then again you never know. Being with Jill I know what you missed and you have my condolences.

Your post does not make much sense.
You said that you showed up at the hotel to see Jill and then you were advised that you would have to wait 1 hour to see her. BDJ then offers you the option of waiting the hour or seeing another girl. You decline both. Then you call back later and are told that you did not have an appointment to see Jill?? Did you ever set up another appointment? From your message it does not seem like you did. But, once again they offered to set up an appointment for you later on, and once again you did not agree to it.
I am clueless as to what your concerns are as far as BDJ's customer service. You were given several options and you declined all of them.
As far as I am concerned, Kim has been nothing but great to me. She is always a pleasure to deal with.
That's great for you Bunny and I guess your post will put you in Kim's good graces, but RACER got burned and he should be pissed. Some of us don't have all day to sit around waiting for another appt. when we arrange our schedule's for a particular time. I'm sure he also didn't appreciate driving all the way to the site and leaving with nothing. If you are "clueless about what his concerns are about BDJ's customer service" then read his post several more times and put yourself in his position.
I twice had a similar experience to yours RACER and do not use BDJ anymore because of it. Burn me once shame on you, burn me twice shame on me. BDJ was very cavalier about the incident and didn't seem to care or offer a solution. If this sort of thing happened to you in any other business situation I am sure you would not use the vendor anymore. So, in answer to your question, YES I do think they have gotten too big just like the corporate giants(ie.Tyco) who felt they were so big that they didn't have to play by the rules and obey the law. Look at where their companies and CEO's are now. The fact that Kim has been great to you Bunny doesn't preclude the fact that she has screwed many others who are entitled to voice their concern.
By the way, keep your comments about my posting under an alias, I don't want to hear it.

The second time I called the person who answer the phone was very distance or did not know what happened. I wanted to discuss my other options since I could not take a later appt at the last minute nor wanted to see another person who I did not know anything about since I was expecting Jill. The second person (not Shauna) just hang up the phone as I was trying to work things out.
Later I got a voicemail from Jill and talked to her. She apologize for the messup even though it was not her fault at all. I will try to talk to Shauna again to see what happen and what she can do to fix this issue.

why am i not surprised that buddy and bunny are first in line defending bdj on an issue they know nothing about...
Your right Joe the issue is getting burned. Since I never have maybe I don't know what it feels like, but I can imagine. By the way Did Bunny or I do something that you didn't like?? I would'nt say that your post sounded at all friendly. If you got something to say either post it or send me a PM.

Dear Buddy, as far as I know you have not done anything that I did not like. All i did was voice my lack of surprise of your predictable BDJ defense. I guess you could view that as having an attitude of looking at both sides of the equation. Just as the recent issue concerning questionable reviews of former BDJ girls. Perhaps expand your horizons.

I'm not a big BDJ fan myself, for exactly the reasons you describe. I have experienced delays in my appointments without the courtesy of an explanation or apology, and have had one no-show. (Although this was due to the fact that they couldn't reach the provider in question.)
Most of the problems I experienced with BDJ seem to fall under the category of customer service on the part of the agency. As in any other industry, I tend to gravitate to companies that show an appreciation for my business. BDJ never really demonstrated that, so they lost my business quite some time ago.
In addition, the girls at BDJ are not my preferred type anyway. I know others may disagree, but I personally think there are better options out there than BDJ.
Back when they were still sending girls to L.A., there were a number of threads citing precisely this sort of problem with BDJ. They would set up appts, direct guys to hotels, and then never call back with room numbers. In other cases, girls were double-booked, so guys got to the hotel and told "sorry."
It may be that this outfit, which has an unbelievable roster of babes, saves its best logistics for its best markets, like NYC. But I doubt it. More likely, they get overwhelmed and cannot handle it. So they cannot be seen as 100% reliable.
Then again, to get hooked up to Jill, or Sissy/Paulina, it may be worth the risk.
Give me a break. I have never experienced any of this nonsense being described here. Kim has always been a pro and the girls are the best. The point is nobody is perfect, cut BDJ a break here.
I used BDJ for 1st time this past week and was disappointed. I tried to make an appointment to see Andi (new girl)for 8 p.m.
5 minutes before 8, as I am heading uptown in a cab to my appt., I get a call -"Andi will be busy for the next several hours, but you can see Brandi at 8:30" I agree-at 8:30 I call back for an Apt # and to get buzzed in and I get their answeing tape for 15 minutes and no call back. Finally at 8:45 p.m., as I am about to leave , I get a call back from BDJ and they let me in. Forget about the session, which was only middling for the price-these guys are supposed to be the gold standard. I say B.S. -I will stick with the indies from now on.

I've had overall,very good experiences although I havn't used them recently as I've been enjoying the company of some really great Indys.
Let me state... that I started out in this hobby utilizing Kim's services and to tell all the truth, I have not had a bad experience after the first hug.I've had a couple of timing delays and was delayed the first time in seeing Jill but no major problem as the lounge was very comfortable.Ironically, the last time I saw Jill(unexpected pleasure) was due to a mix-up over Sissy's availability.
In many ways, you have to take the good with the bad at BDJ. The good being really beautiful girls at very reasonable donation. The bad being that sometimes high volume gets in the way and that could muck up the works if one of the lovelies all of a sudden comes up with a migraine or a disturbing call from home comes in during the schedule.SHIT happens! I wil say that I found Kim to be very reasonable on the phone and as she has stated here on this board, if there is a problem, call and discuss it with her.She will do the right thing.
I also agree that BDJ is in the service business and that there should be no allowance for rudeness or curt remarks on the part of their phone representatives.If its happening, this needs to be corrected... although I'm sure that last minute hobbyist(s) cancellations sometimes throw them off and skew their feelings but hell its part of the business and should be no excuse.
Finally, no alias on any of these message boards should have the last say although I will agree that their point of view they represent(actual member) or comments
should be considered and responded to by actual members.It is always very easy to criticize hiding behind an alias ID and who knows... it might even be competition.Yes,some of these other ladies have claws..lol
All of the above being said...Let's hope this thread will make them better.

On 2 seperate occasions basically the same happened to me as RACERXXX. The problem seems to be the large amount of girls and the lack of organization on their half. On one time I went to see one of their girls named Rachel. Made the appointment. Drove pretty far across the island, got there, and called 10 minutes early. They said they would call me back with the room number. 10 minutes, no call. another 10 minutes, no call. Called them, got the voice mail, left message. no callback. Called another five minutes. Got someone who said they are calling her and will call me right back. Another 10 mintues, no call. I called again and they said they cannot get in touch with her right now. They asked if they want me to call when they do get in touch with her. I said I can't wait in a bad motel parking lot all night! I left.
The whole time, they never called me back once, they never apologized and while they weren't neccesarily rude, they were never helpful or offered anyone else. I try to avoid BDJ, but it seems they kind of have a small monopoly on the island right now. We need more competition here.
i had three appts w/ bdj. first two went off without a problem. on the last attempt, kim could not find kennedy (the girl i had the appt with). what can kim do? lock the girl in the room? she offered me an appt w/ kylie which turned out to be a good session.
I got a response back from Kim. She really wants to put a positive end to this episode. She was very very professional and am willing to compensate me for the problem. I do appreciate that Kim responded in this positive manner which truely shows that she does care about her clientele.
So I want to end this thread that BDJ do care and are not too big .

I have said it in the past and I will say it again, when a problem is brought to Kim's attention she always does the right thing. This is not the first time that we have seen her do this on the board. IMHO, this should have been settled off of boards. Racer should have just called her and discussed the situation and I am sure that she would have rectified the situation. Kim is very fair when she has to deal with problems. When I had my 1 problem with BDJ and I called Kim she was more than willing to listen to me and offer me a solution,which I was beyond satisfied with. I know that I am going to take so much crap for saying something good about Kim, but I don't really care. Feel free to bash me with all the alias's that you can think of.

How do you know who the phone receptionist is? Is there more than one?
I've used BDJ a few times w/o problems in the past. However, the person I spoke to on the phone was so rude that I have not used them since. I called during the day and if that was the reputed Kim, then I guess I'll take my business elsewhere forever.
I have never found Kim to be rude. Woulnd'nt that be counter productive? At times as you can imagine many calls will come in at the same time. Is it possible that what you percieve as rudeness is just a harried operation. If however, you really feel that an operater was in fact rude rather than stop using a great agency with great providers you should ask for Kim and speak to her directly.

I haved used BDJ many times, know and have seen Kim (Shauna)herself and she can be very rude! However, the excuse here is that she is crazed and probably needs more phone help.
