Just make sure you fly in and out of the same airport lol.

I recall my first trip there and it was madness. I flew into Ohare but hotel was closer to Midway and I was telling everyone I was "near the airport." Which airport might have helped ha ha. I avoid downtown areas in most really big cities, because the hotel rooms (though nicer) are also generally much smaller in size with less in room amenities unless you want to spend over 400. Another thing you may want to check into are condos because they rent for about the same as a 4 star hotel room, yet offer 2 bedrooms, 2 baths and a balcony/patio.

I generally book all my hotel rooms from hotels.com and flights through cheaptickets.com. Sometimes you save with booking them together and other times, not so much. If you're driving, then no brainer... hotels.com will show you all the hotels based on area, amenties, restaurants, etc. Chicago is much like New Orleans when it comes to dining... you really can't go wrong with 90 percent of the well known eateries. Must  try a Chicago dog even if you only take one bite... it's just something you have to cross off your list ha ha.

I am staying near Ohare as far as hobbying goes, but will be making my way downtown if time and energy permit lol.

in a few weeks. If everything works out nicely, I may come once a month.

My questions are:

Best areas to stay that are reasonable but safe? Plus if in-door pool, hot tub, and work out area but not exclusive.

Best dining options and things to do in the area you suggest?

Best places to advertise?

Some things are of no value in WI ( as far as advertising on ) but I want to expand on my horizons. Would like to enjoy my time ( week and half planned ) all around, which includes some 4 and 5 star restaurants and some "only in IL" restaurants that serve food only available locally.

Also, I have been there before but forgot exact when Taste of Chicago is...? I greatly enjoyed that the 2 times I went. Ate like a cow lol. Tasting a little of almost everything :D

Taste of Chicago is July 8-12
If you cum at that times hotel rooms will be very high especially downtown.
Since you'll be cumming from Milwaukee staying near Ohare makes sense...no need to stay in Rosemont...go another 5 minutes and you can get a decent room for about $100 per night

that is only made in WI. A few things are not allowed to be sold outside of the state lol. All are food or drink.

I am guessing you don't want to try a cannibal sandwich LOL

You could probably get there faster if you walked. Take Amtrak, $40 and drops you off downtown.
