It has worked great for me over the last year. have people choose the "sending money to friends and family"option used for sending support and gifts, not the "paying for goods and services." That will both be less suspicious and also save a transaction fee.

This has been a lifesaver for me, since, as a disabled housebound man, it is utterly impossible for me to go to a bank or cash station to get cash.

This probably works best when you are just receiving gifts via Paypal from a few people, or in the case of thw woman I see, just me.

Would like to hear if there are any disadvantages about accepting PayPal

Do you mean paying p411 with paypal ? Or accepting clients payments via paypal. I know several women who had Paypal and were accepting it as payment and paypal shut them down AND took their money. IMHO I wouldn't use paypal for ANYTHING in this industry.

Thank you for answering. Did you have to wait a couple of days until transaction is complete and then have an appointment?

no, my friend gets her money right away, no delay. when you send money to friends and family, and they have a paypal account, it goes right into your account. and paypal offers you a free debit card (which you can qualify for even if you don't qualify for a credit card, as I didn't until recently because of losing my house in 2012), you can use the debit card right away to buy groceries, pay bills, etc., it has a Mastercard logo, and use of that card even gives you 1.5% back on all purchases, so I gained about $340 back in the last year using it to pay all bills, as you can set it up to draw funds first from your paypal balance and secondly from your checking account. (They also have a credit card if your credit is better).
