I will be visiting Seattle Oct 18-19 and am looking for recommended for providers (or providers who may be available) as well a nice place to stay around the Seattle area not too far from the airport.  I have looked at "top 100" list for Seattle but would also like to know if anyone has personal recommendations.  I would appreciate any suggestions.  Feel free to PM me if that is easier.

Downtown Seattle is really not very far from the airport at all.  There are a wide variety of very nice hotels, not to mention the increased opportunities for decent food, shopping, and things to do.  I'm partial to the W and the Sorrento.

P.S.  As it happens, I'll be in town those dates.

Hotels....

I like fireplaces and soaking tubs, a view and convenient entertainment, beverages and snacks. How 'bout you?

Pan Pacific is nice-near Lake Union.  The Four Seasons has been open for some time now, and is of course fantastic, Downtown prime. I have not been impressed with the customer service at The Alexis or would recommend it as a 'good deal' for the larger suites.  The Boutique Hotels are all very nice,  Hotel Monaco is nice and Sazeracs is cool for beverages and food.  The Monaco has a variety of room and amenity choices and is conveniently located in the City.
