Found this and just had to share, AND yes I ordered the book

"I'm in the middle of reading a book about one of the most successful prostitutes and madams in the American West (early to mid-20th century). They had special bottles of colored water for the girls when customers bought them shots. Some things never change."

Such a yell went up from all that it is a wonder mountains didn't crumble in on Silver City and bury it forever." I picked the book up at the Singing Wind Bookshop, whose amazing 84 year old owner strongly implied that the author had at one time been a client of Millie's himself."
