He passed judgement. I countered and stated that people should do what they're comfortable with. There are lots of screening options and using personal info is one.

As for the OP, although I largely agree with his advice, I much preer the advice to "Never give out more information than you are comfortable with giving"
I will certainly agree that you have no idea when a seemingly well reviewed and well balanced provider will turn BSC on you and become the hooker from hell for no apparent reason, but I have to temper that fact with the fact that I have given out personal information to dozens if not hundreds of different hookers over the years without ill effect. Not that they could do anything with the info anyhow as I am blackmail proof and could not care less who knows I fuck hookers.
I assume that if the lady is reputable, she will continue to be reputable. My worry is where is the information stored? Will some unhappy H or SO have access to it now or at a future point in time? Second, although unlikely with a well-reviewed provider, how about a bust? Again, for many the worry is not a retroactive prosecution for something LE cannot prove, the worry is the mere involvement in anything relating to LE, because even a call from LE can absolutely screw up someone's life.
Frankly, I am not so sure that the information is destroyed, that is my concern, my name and number on a phone, a computer, a notebook, anything.
