When in China, IMHO it's best to try local

I have been to China DOZENS of times over many years.  In all of that time, I never had a good Russian experience... so I stopped trying.  Sorry, but they are famously cold, aloof, rather nasty, over-priced, and smell of smoke... for a reason. No thanks!  On the other hand, you will see countless local ladies interested in Western company in most of the usual locations.  If this is your first trip, I suggest that you give Maggie's Bar in Beijing some attention -- it is loaded with expats, plus also plenty of local ladies and (typically) some imported ladies (Russians, Koreans, Mongolians, etc.) too.  It is easier to find ladies in Shanghai.  Will you be staying in a hotel or elsewhere?

PS:  Did I mention that the Mongolian ladies are typically terrific horsewomen?  IMHO this is a very beneficial and underrated skill!  LOL

Thanks for your information, I just relocated to China and will be here for a while.

I am headed to Beijing myself, my first time, will be there 4 days staying around the center of the city in a decent hotel. Would love some additional guidance on finding locals ... Whats the deal with the hairdessing places? and if I go into a foot massage place, can I get something more? is there any way to identify from the outside?

Check out some clubs or bars in the city, some "spa" are where you will find locals.
