I'm tired of reading the same BS political nonsense on the General Board. I don't care whether posters are conservative or liberal, it's tiring and somewhat irritating.
The recent Dixie Chicks thread as an example. That thread is way out of hand now, nearly consuming a full page.
I would rather see a "no politics" policy for the general
discussion board (all TER boards for that matter). If people
want to talk politics, they can go elsewhere.

There are always someone with strong opinions ready to turn a discussion into a semi-argument. (I admit I have been responsible for that at times.

Setting up a separate political board is not a bad idea. Not sure it would serve the purpose though.
