Saw a provider several times, stayed overnight several times, on/off the clock. We went out a lot. We then had the "relationship" conversation. She teared up and said to me she wished she had met me a few years earlier in her life. She mentioned she liked the money and she also mentioned that she found her SO had been seeing providers, though she gave him everything. That was when she started in the biz. She wondered as a hobbyist would I stop as well.
We bonded because we met each other "where we were" in our lives, not how we dreamed nor fantasized how it could be. Where she certainly expressed feelings for me, I'm sure early in the game, she said that to many of her clients. That was cool. I did know it was hard for me when I didn't hear from her for several days after we started seeing other. I had to check myself.
