This deserves it's own thread, Traildust. But the short answer is that there is no short answer. People are funny in their odd little habits. I do notice a lot of interesting human behavior that takes folks away. Why, just recently it was the "last hurrah of summer" vacations with the family!

I certainly don't begrudge THAT!

I find that warm weather is sensually stimulating as much as cold weather. I'm sure it is true for the guys as well. (I do dislike the wind, though...not moving to Chicago, the "Windy City".)

Yours are so beautifully written that they almost qualify as more than just an ad though!

Here's a thread to start, sort of related to board activity - at least this weekend:

I'd be interested to know from you or some of the other ladies whether the Seattle weather impacts the hobby? We have so few beautiful, warm sunny days, that many of us want to take advantage of every one and head outside. So do things slow down with a stretch of really nice weather? Pick up when the rain sets in?

By the way, whatever the weather, I look forward to meeting you in the near future... .

This was THE place for amazing discussions.  Discussions seemed to stop once they added a Hobbyist only and Provider only board.  We used to have amazingly wild discussions.  There was very little fear and I still don't understand what the heck made the discussion boards go SOOO quiet.  They all became full on ads pages, and I miss the banter!

I hope more folks show up here. Of both sexes. If you check out some of the other cities' Regional Boards, especially East coast, you will see that they are pretty busy. Lots of stuff to talk about, and lots of MEN as well.
