Are there any banner creators out there somewhere because I would really like a nice banner. I tried creating one for myself on a free banner site but it didn't turn out right. Feel free to PM with info. Thanks :)
Not sure if you know of or heard of Holly Berry, but the guy that does her site is based in the Chicago area. Looking at the site, he does pretty good work.  If you're serious about it, you can contact her, I'm sure she wont mind passing his info on.

I think it is important to have images that work well on banners. Like photos when you are standing up, have to be super tiny to fit on a banner. But, like if you have an good image of you laying down or on your hands and knees that you can size to be long and short, are perfect for banners. Then, really you just put your text over the top if you'd like.

BCC (Ben Cuevas Creative) is an art & design studio based in Silverlake (Los Angeles). This fellow has AMAZING graphic design skills in addition to being a successful artist in his own right (music and video as well as sculpture - google him!).

BCC designs logos for new businesses, T-shirts for existing businesses, retouches photos if for whatever reason you aren't working with a professional photographer...

I am having him design two banners for me (different looks and parameters for different sites) - his rates are super reasonable.
