He is a media whore of the first order. He has never met a tv camera that he did not like. But it is easy to see why he floats in this direction. It is low cost and required his officers to very little real police work. The folks he ends up snatching up literally come to him. All his guys need to do is rent the room for the take downs.
But no one ever bothers to mention are the crime stats in his county are all pretty high. He chooses to go after consenting adults and ignore trying to capture real criminals.
