I'not a hobbyist, but after reading some of the threads here I'm curious about something... I know the so called "high dollar hotties" don't allow reviews - how can the hobbyist check and choose the girl based only on the information on her website???
There are way too many other fish in the sea to take unnecessary chances on unreviewed ladies, especially those with high price tags.

If you are going to be an exclusive high-dollar provider, you are going to either need a steady clientele or another source of income because the higher rates and lack of reviews will cost you some business.
The guys who just want one hour and then leave probably aren't the ones these ladies are interested in anyway. They prefer longer sessions and more exclusivity for men that are looking for that - and some men are.
I've been with an HDH and had an enjoyable time. I did not review her (respecting her wishes) and would consider seeing her again. I knew she'd blocked off the entire afternoon to see me so we could have a great unrushed time.
I don't know why you would consider them "substandard" simply because they reject the six-men-a-day churn of some other providers. If they have the looks and popularity to make it on a more limited basis, why shouldn't they?
As for the "no-review" policy, it's a business decision. If most of the guys they see are repeat customers, reviews are generally worthless to them and limits their exposure to cads who would otherwise bombard them with calls and e-mails they'd have to reject.
Sorry if you had a bad experience with one but, IMO, the rip-off artists are going to aim for the middle market since they won't be getting any repeat customers, they need to market themselves at a price that seems "too good to be true" to lure in business.
Most HDHs can't afford to operate that way because they don't cast as wide a net.
and have had a wonderful time with two.What do you consider as high? The average seems to be 250-350. What I consider high is $1000 for 1.5 - 2 hrs. Like the ladies say "if you can't afford it call someone else" Just my .02
There are other message boards that are HDH-centric and you can get a feel for these ladies over time. Also, though most say they don't allow reviews, some have them anyway on this and other boards. Generally, they either don't know about them or they are in the process of trying to have them taken down.

There are over 41 pages of providers on this site with prices between $1K and $3K. Yes the hours involved in the date vary but the point is that by no means is it a fact that higher priced providers do not allow reviews.
I tend to agree with TallTax and LVP and disagree with Cynicalman. Some of the providers who fall into this range are porn stars, Playboy and Penthouse models or exceptionally beautiful women who deliberately offer exclusive arrangements for clients looking for an extraordinary indulgence and experience. Their business model is not based on volume by design and many are very successful and have pages and pages of stellar reviews. The hobby is a prime example of standard economic supply/demand principles that dictate market price. Trust me, many of these ladies are quite savvy and they are well aware of how their particular market will meet their price. Every lady can set her own price as she so desires but at the end of the day the quality of what they provide in terms of themselves and their services will dictate if they can maintain their standard.
I am not suggesting that the more tpyical priced GFE provider is less beautiful nor capable of giving fantastic service. Far from it as I have been privileged to be with several wonderful ladies with such attributes. I've also fulfilled special dreams and fantasies with higher priced ladies and was equally blown away. The keystone hobby rule of 'YMMV' applies to each end of the provider pricing spectrum. There are great ladies and lifetime experiences to be found in each price category. There are also those who will disappoint on each side as well. Always go with an informed decsion and that means finding well reviewed ladies regardless of price. There is an abundance of them at all price ranges. The value you assign to a provider and her company will always be up to you when all is said and done.
