Yes ... asking where are the restrooms really works ...

One of my favorites told me he was politely "greeted" by staff.
He told me that his asking "where are the restrooms" really worked.
Urgent goal ... and staff does not want a wet area on the carpet.
Very convincing to rush off for the men's room...

I am new to hobbying and have a question.
I was talking with a provider and she had mentioned once she had a
client approached by hotel security after he had left the appointment.
(It was an upscale hotel)
He was questioned on why he was at the hotel.
Has anyone had a similar situation and how did you respond??
Thank you

I generally say I was visiting my sister, and continue along my way. No need to give name or room number

But if they ever did, I think I'd say "no comment", and pick up my pace a bit.

Also avoid that place from then on and let gals know to also avoid it.

and simply respond with "No, thank you. I have heard good things about the hotel and just wanted to take a look before my next trip to town". Ask if it's OK for you to have a drink at the bar on the way out. Ask where the restrooms are. Become the questioner and not the one being questioned. They are oriented to service and will switch focus. Belong there for real, don't fake belonging.

Remember, it is only going to happen either before or after a session, not during. You are FINE. Worst thing is you get asked to leave. So what?

Good suggestion. Be prepared, be concise, act natural and relaxed, and quickly move on.

I have a male friend, he is not a hobbyist...

He always uses the public bathhrooms in hotels when I've been out and about with him.

anyone who approaches and addresses you is simply trying to be a helpful hotel employee. Handle it that way! Housekeeping asks if you need anything, you say "No thanks. Everything is just fine.", smile, and keep walking. Ask where the ice or soda vending machine is. Act and ask things you would as a guest or visitor to the hotel. Because that is exactly what you are!!! Have you never visited another or had someone visit you at a hotel before; say on a business trip? I've met with friends from conferences at one or another hotel or room before going to dinner many times. Doesn't matter if it is the lobby or the 11th floor.

If you're worried about LE, stop. They aren't in the hallway asking you questions, they are already in the room. You're not meeting them by chance.

Ahhhh I like that.

One time with the old Belladonna Agency I called in from the street and was given a room number that did not exist. This very upscale hotel had a unique floor plan with lots of corners and I ended up walking around looking for a room that wasn't there. I was seen by someone because when I got back to the elevator to head down 2 security guys were just getting off with their wallow talkies. One got back on the elevator with me for the ride down. Although he said nothing he he followed me right out to the street. You'd think I must have bumbled around to attract attention but I really didn't. As if it wasn't bad enough I was given a bad room number when I called in to tell service afterward I was the same number again. When I told her the room didn't exist she double checked with the provider and got the correct number. The worst thing was she never even apologized. I contacted the and told him the story as well. He told me he would get back to me with some type of compensation offer but never did. Coincidentally the agency began to spiral right about that time.

If I am doing an outcall to a hotel If I have never been there,
I ask the client where the elevators are
If I feel disoriented when I first walk in Ill head towards the lounge or the ladies room and get the lay of the hotel by discretely looking around.
I also go online look at their site before heading there so I have an idea where things are.
Locally theres not too many hotels I havent been in at some point
I find the key is to dress and look like you belong there. Not too racy not dressed down too much. Dont look lost and have a destination when you walk through the door.
Ive never had a problem.

The perfect answer is "my girlfriend stays at this hotel and I am going to see her".
