I remember when the ball took up the entire sports arena at the New Orleans hotel, now its just small and at the hard rock...i honestly do not feel it is worth it for the price of the tickets at all. I have even worked event modeling latex fashion for a local kink store and still did not think it was worth the price of ticket.

Like most Vegas events it's something for people to brag about having attended, usually the type of people who would never attend such an event in their hometown , who think it's super naughty...they probably attend church Sunday.
If you like people watching it's ok but you're probably better saving yourself a flight and expensive ticket and getting a local provider (or 2) to visit you in leather!

If you read their website you will see that there can be no BDSM displayed. That ends the one display that really interests me. I took 3 civie ladies last year and it was fun watching their eyes pop at all the pretty ladies and guys. But, it is very vanilla and without the BDSM display, it will be even more so.
If you like a big party with lots of people dresses like they are into it, go ahead.
