your recommendations of restaurants 30 minutes or less from the Miami Beach Convention Center. I will not have a car, so taxi is my only mode of transportation. I will be in Miami for business and have to take a couple of colleagues out to dinner. I am looking for your favorite local (non-chain) place to dine that has a 4 - 5 star upscale atmosphere and $$$ to $$$$ menu.

Can be a variety of cuisines from Cuban, Italian, South American etc... or any cuisine other than Japanese/sushi restaurants. Thanks.
