I live near South Bend, and the pickings here are slim at best. I'd love for the Chicago or even Indy ladies to put my area on their route and come visit. There are dozens of ladies of ladies I'd love to see here, most in the 350 to 500 range, and I'm fine with that. Now I do have some likes and dislikes, but whats the best way to get more ladies to visit???
Inquire with the ladies you seek as to what will make it worth their while to come to you (i.e. suck it up and book a long appointment or offer more money).
It appears you have seen many top tier ladies both local and visiting. I would think you know how it works. My colleague gave you a great suggestion. Just contact them and ask if they will visit you. Good luck.
From my personal experience, there are two very effective means.
1) Contact the ladies who most interest you and make your admiration known (be very complimentary... a little flattery can go a LOOOONG way!) and ask if she ever makes it out your way, or if would consider making the trip for a multi-hour booking.
2) Strength in numbers! If you can get other gentlemen together who would all be interested in seeing the same lady during a potential visit to your neck of the woods, get it organized! Then approach those ladies with this proposition: a group of XX number of gentlemen and myself can all guarantee her bookings if she would be so kind as to travel your way for a day or two, provided the dates agree with all the gentlemens' schedules in advance.
For the latter suggestion, this might have a better success rate with those who do "travel" than those who are not known to do so.

Make it worth her while. I've driven an hour & 1/2 each way for a three hour, plus a travel premium. I usually sum it up as a date that matches all travel time is worth it. So a two hour drive each way for a four hour date plus travel works for me. ($50/hour of travel.)
Not everyone will do that, and of course, schedule has to permit; however, I love to drive, so it's not a huge deal to me. But it has to be worth it, or I'll just sit here and do other stuff and take someone near by instead.
All that to say, make it worth her while, and try to be flexible.
If you're looking for Incall, that's an entirely different story, and may take more organizing...
