its more intimate, but thats probably what i like about it.

lots of theater style seating, but also lots of tables and a VP bar.
i believe horse betters can sit in a semi private area with tvs. its a few steps up from the main floor.. and easy access to the betting line.

When I have visited Las Vegas in the past, I spent time playing the horses at the sports book in the Mirage.  With the MGM Mirage properties now charging for parking, I would like to know:

Where is the best sports book in Las Vegas which is not located at a MGM Mirage property.

The Mirage has lots of room, great array of screens and plenty of food options available.  Its my go to sports book to veg out and watch games.  The ones listed in the post above are also excellent options.  One other book I like is the one at V/P.

The guy is boycotting the pay for parking casinos based out of principal or maybe ....??????

stay on the strip, then venetian, wynn and lagasse's stadium is good..off strip, westgate (not sure if they are charging for parking yet), m resort and red rock are good too

....For overall ambience,  GR8 individual TVs, and outstanding food and service, Wynn is second to none.   If near south end of Strip, M Resort is outstanding.   Visited the new Race and Sports at Cosmopolitan and it's very specious and friendly also.

This place has a great setting. The big games are usually on the large screen that has stadium seating. Or you can get a table and have your personal TV to watch

Thanks for the replies.  I will check out Wynn and Venetian when I visit Las Vegas next month.

I have gone for years to the Hilton/west gate I went today and found out they now charge you $5.00 to go into the the theater watch the games you can get a free drink with that. I told west gate that that was F up I guess someone has to pay for the new sports book. I will not be going back.
