What kind of moron gives out employment info or even a real name???  So stupid.  Nowadays, with just your name ANYONE, even a stupid backpage hooker, can straight ruin your life.   Don't do it!  No snatch is worth embarassing yourself and even worse, your family.  Anyone (agency, verification service, hooker) asks you for name or ID, just go elsewhere.   Everyone does that, and they will have to change.  Think about it, do you have their personal info??

Just visited the website and all the previously available tour information is now locked with a rather drastic notice posted. Did I miss something?

It just seems bizarre that they blatantly say they are no longer looking for new clients.
Isn't that what agencies do? Or am I just just so late to the party that it's 4am and I'm stepping over discarded kegs on the lawn? Should have taken the plunge sooner I guess, but now it just makes me want to steer clear.

The web designer in me can't resist mentioning how awful all the little padlocks added to the pictures look.  Why not just hang a big sign that says "fuck off" while you're at it?

They demanded not only my employment information but a copy of my pay check stub.  Are you out of your fucking mind?  I love how agencies and escorts that ask for this think it's that easy.  Like my government job with a secret clearance is not going to ask questions when some random person calls to verify my employment?  Really?  GTFO!!!  I have over a dozen ladies you can get references from.  I do not need to give you possible contacts for you to blackmail me with or hand to the police when the IRS raids your shit.

Sound far fetched?  I watched it happen in St Louis over 10 years ago.  Guy was sitting at his desk when agents walked in and took him away.  Why?  Because his favorite escort agency got busted and they found his name, address, DL picture and employer US Dept of _____ information in a file cabinet!

Nope nope nope.

This is why I never followed through with this agency.

I do use P411 however and find that it makes my life easier, with (in my mind) an acceptable level of risk.

This hobby is all about minimizing risk and potential problems, on both sides of the aisle, but they can never truly be eliminated entirely. Not unless a lot of things change in this super-puritan country.

agreed all around.   They don't give you their real names.   Same should be had....

turns up DEAD or beat up and raped!  Then suddenly it was a better idea to get that info so when the police are asking who dunnit... you dont have your finger up your A**!  Also, if a girl does not have an agency she works with, she should either have someone to report who she is with to and should let the visitor know she does simply by calling that person when the client walks through the door!

I know there have been isolated incidents where clients have been harassed and even blackmailed but most times it is by an independent or a newly established agency.  An established agency or independent is usually npt interested in tarnishing their name by practicing such behavior!

HAPPY TRAILS!

COMPLETELY AGREE!!

As someone who has been around, over, under, and through the block far too many times.... I can tell you there are some very important safety issues that must not be overlooked.

I understand concerns over discretion/anonymity but on the whole, the gentlemen I entertain have far less to fear from me than I from them.

If I'm working out of an apartment, an unhappy or vindictive client can decide to alert my landlord and/or neighbors of my activities.

If I'm staying at a hotel, a quick call or stop at the front desk to tattle on me will have immediate negative repercussions.  Something similar to this happened to me once when I was visiting another city and I was forced to cut my visit short.

If this person is in stalker mode, he can wait till I leave and follow me home, or to my kids' school (that actually happened to me once) and learn all sorts of private details with which to blackmail and/or coerce ME.

And how likely is it, if you are seeing an established provider, that she poses an immediate physical threat?

Let me tell you, I am aware of my vulnerability every time I meet someone new.  I will no longer accept aliases, screen-names, and a reference or two.  Almost every nasty encounter I have had has been with someone who was not fully screened.  Why?  Because these people felt very comfortable behaving badly, protected by their cloaks of anonymity.

When someone KNOWS that I know who he is, and can follow up to take action...... he is far less likely to misbehave.

To sum up, as long as you do not have bad intentions, and research your potential dates to ascertain that they are established and of reasonably-sound mind (hey, we're grading on a curve here lol!) coughing up your personal details to RS2K, a reputable agency, or independent lady carries only a minimum risk.

And that risk is far less significant than that of me opening my door to someone by the alias Dick Hardmore with references from ladies I do not personally know.

Agree 100% on everything you said. You learn from the experience, and every time something negative happens, you find ways to avoid it in future. And is all always because you want to stay safe.

Just because they didn't get a john's real name?  LOL!  That is the dumbest thing I've heard in awhile.  Congrats!

Please, find me evidence your BS argument.  Just on this board, there was a hooker complaining of getting ripped off and threatened by a guy she verified through RS2K.  Ever hear of a fake ID?

Hookers get raped/assaulted/killed by pimps and dealers far more than random johns.  And the johns doing the killing aren't going to have problems getting fake IDs.

Women get raped/assaulted/killed by men every minute of every day.  Nearly all of them know the full name of their perpetrator.  That makes little difference.  You are deluding yourself if you think it does.  My advice: carry pepper spray, and learn how to kick a guy in the nuts.

Oh, you still want to see my ID?  Sure, just as soon as I see yours.

Well, Happy Monday!

I don't know what is worse - this post or the 6 likes.....

Ahem.  Everyone does that, and they will have to change?  I for one would stop.  Because I don't like dying.  Or getting beat.  Or have things shoved in me by force.  Or a million other things.  And why would you care that some hooker is comfy with you, right?

You see, a client can straight up ruin your life too, and possibly end it.  And since you only see your side of it, it happens more than your privacy breach stories.  And the main constant, the ladies did not screen.  But then again, the stupid backpage hookers must of deserved it!

Sigh.

I would recommend that you see ladies who don't screen, but obviously that is not what you want to hear.  You'd rather have us in danger.  Got it and duly noted!

Our requirements and practices to feel safe. We can argue until our faces are blue, or we can simply invite those in our lives who hold to (or accept) the same standards we do.

It's unfortunate, but it's the way the world works. Millions of people with different beliefs, and ways of seeing things.

But again, 2.7 million people in Chicago as of 2013... 75% of those are over 18... Percentage of those that are male hobbyists... ??? There's gotta be some who match our preferences/requirements in whatever we do.

The others, they know why we do it, (for most, safety,) and if they don't want to abide, they won't. Which is why it's nice to have those who will.

I am personally much more relaxed, happy, no anxiety if I know exactly who I'm meeting... My comfort level is real info, plus a little email back and forth to get a feel for the guy. References are nice as well. (Word of mouth referral)

Kisses - don't worry too much. The girls who value their safety will hopefully do what is needed to be safe.

We all know about the guy on the GD board involved heavily in hooker rape clubs... However, this wasn't found out until after he'd been posting for quite some time.

Scary shit is out there, and there are people who do creepy things.

The last time I did NOT take a full name on P411 (over a year ago,) I regretted it.

It happened once, when one of the members meet with one stalker type guy. When she was in the shower, he saw she ordered a plate of fruits, but forgot to through away the receipt, where showed her real name. He didn't say a thing, but later found her on facebook(she lives a normal life, just part time travels). Started demanding to start dating. When she refused, he created a profile with her industry pictures and sent the link to all the family members he was able to find. Her reputation was ruined. Did I ever heard something like this happened to any of our club members(hobbyists) - NO.

So, girls, remember.... if you order room service, make sure to through away receipts somewhere, where your visitors won't be ale to find. Same goes about your IDs, credit cards etc.

I don't thin that screening people demanded anything. They just stated what they need to get approved. And if you don't feel comfortable its your choice.

Before any verification steps are going to be made, it is always discussed with you and with your approval. About the references. We decided not to use this method of verification, because it is not a safe way(references might say OK even without checking the person, or in purpose with negative motives to cause problems to our club members). And we do know how to keep your information safe. People at the call center who do the screening are not newbies, well educated, trained and use all possible tools in order for your information not to be leaked to a 3rd party. I wish I would be able to give you a tour on how all the things work - you would be amazed and you would think - why to spend so much time on the way we do it, if it can be done much easier and faster.

I guess they were involved in some illegal stuff and therefore were busted. City Girls is private club, a non-profit organization and always stays away and endorses any illegal activity.

...do a little research and the girls there can be found to work elsewhere.  Plus city girls and rs2k want way too much info.

Everything we do, we do that for everyone's safety.
It also says that there can be exceptions for new members, and you can try to be screened.
If you are staying informed about nationwide news, you can get an idea why these safety measures are taking place.
Better safe, than sorry.
