Yes within the few moments it posted her profile was deleted and I already contacted the other boards just after she passed and that is was she asked me to do in case anything ever happened to her. But Ter was the one that with 3 pages of reviews she thought would let her regulars know at least for a week. I guess not..................
It is with great sadness that I am announcing the death and loss of one of our own. It has taken me awhile to write this but I feel it should be announced. Amerstamheaven AKA Julie from the west coast of Florida passed away in her sleep at the young age of 55 April 5, 2016. She was my one of my very best friends and will be truly missed. I knew Julie for almost 7 years and met her through the hobby when she called me for a reference. We shared many good times traveling together on the east coast of the U.S. (she was not a duo partner) but we both traveled with our dogs and watched out for one another. Every year I would head over to Englewood area and spend the weekends (winter & summer) playing cards,.Yahtzee, Sequence, watching football, swimming in her pool and cooking out. She was an excellent chef and taught me all that I know about seasonings and new dishes to prepare. We talked on the phone every other day and we loved one another. Never got off the phone without saying I love you and I love you too. We were soul sisters and we always loved one another and even had disagreements like sisters do LOL.
Julie was loving, kind, caring, thoughtful , overly giving (would do anything for you) and just one of the nicest and best friends I’ve ever had. One of a kind ….She drove up last year to help me with my brothers memorial and without her I would of never been able to do all of it myself and deal with my mom (she took that venture on as well). And the kicker is she offered to do it. We catered and cooked all the food ourselves. My brother was my only sibling so last year was a hard time for me. Julie and my other Gf’s helped me through it emotionally. Thank you all!

She loved the hobby and cared about all of her clients. So for those who have met her I just wanted you to be aware that she hasn’t been ignoring you she just isn’t here anymore. May she live on always in our hearts and on our minds! I will always love you Julie and I miss you soooo much!

... for being fabulous, amazing people and beautiful souls. Jo, if it wasn't for you, I'd never have met Julie and experienced so many fun times with her and with you. I know how much a part of your life she is & always will be. It hurts to see you hurt.
Julie was an amazing, giving, fun soul. She opened her home to us on many occasions and was considered our "west coast family" when we visited family on the west coast. I have some plants in my yard that she gave me that will grow and show that her spirit lives on. I will never enjoy chili or rib roast or quite honestly, vodka, without raising a glass to Julie!
Jo, be strong! Make her proud. She's got your back...

at a MnG in Tampa a few years ago that happened to be on my birthday, she bought a card for me and got all the ladies at the party to sign it for me. What a thoughtful lady, even though we had never met. My hobby buddy who was her date that night told her about my birthday and she did that for me, even though we had never met. I'll never forget that, Julie.

First of all my condolences for both of your losses. I have spoken with Julie a few times when I was more active and comfortable conducting reference checks by phone. She was very kind and respectful of my requests. I am so sad to hear of someone so young and vibrant passing away.

None of us are going to live forever in this plane of existence ...we're all mortal, and we have to learn to accept that. In the meantime, treat others as you would like them to treat you. Respect, dignity, and love go a long way...maybe the whole way.

Julie was an amazing lady who could really cook up some great food(and times) and enjoy life by the pool. Life is so short......

I would just like to say thank you all for your kind words and support. I have had a few of Julie's regular clients contact me and share their memories and good times via phone. In the future there will be a memorial and scattering of her ashes (if and when her daughter can fly back out). I've already arranged her lodging and a boat to take us out over on the west coast of Florida. So if there are any of her other clients that would like to attend just PM or call me.
