A non-trivial number of agency providers moonlight on BP.  They use different pics and names.  One provider told me her BP pics disguise her tattoos so the agency doesn't know.

But almost called her today so let me know how it goes

Why would you look on BackPage? You're setting yourself up to be disappointed, victimized or arrested.

You just have to do your research but that's with any website because you could never be too sure. I advertise on backpage and get more RS2K/TER members than non members so apparently, there are a lot of RS2K/TER guys who search backpage and I'm sure they do their research on the providers.

BP is often discussed here relating to the Pros & Cons of using it from both perspectives;
- from a provider that advertises there
and
- from gents who find ladies from there to see

BP is also discussed both here and on the the PO boards what seems at least monthly. This week its being discussed both here and on the PO board!

Most every provider I know of advertises on BP in addition to other venues. Most providers who advertise on BP will say the bulk of the clients they see originally come from BP. Many of those clients are already RS2K and TER members.

It seems a large majority of guys start their search on BP then start their homework on a particular girl or girls(s) they are interested in seeing. You can tell from all the posts here that say; Is she legit and real then include a BP link to the provider.

I've never heard of a provider who uses BP who also has an extensive amount (years) of lengthy and consistent reviews on TER being problematic. I may be wrong, but I find it difficult to grasp how a provider on TER and BP with an extensive review history spanning several years being problematic and getting away with it could even exist.

Years of reviews don't lie unless it becomes what we ladies call a "good client gone bad" situation. I personally don't recall hearing of a "good provider gone bad" example anywhere. Maybe the providers services fluctuate but what I mean is that she has changed and turned into a rip-off or no longer safe to see. I suspect that if this ever happened her review history would trend in a negative direction and she would not survive in the industry and weed herself out.

I think that there are many questionable providers on BP that men should absolutely not see! I also think said providers are OBVIOUS to avoid to anyone with a brain or common sense! If said provider has no review history, is not new and cant be found on any verification site there may be a reason. Why not just postpone seeing her til she becomes better known and verified to be legit? Check back in three months to see if she still exists or reviews pop up for her here. If a provider who advertises on BP and is also on RS2K, plus has an extensive review history here and may or may not also be on P-411, Date Check etc... is 99% safe to see DUH!! If you like her review history see her. if you don't like her review history don't see her.

If it's not your preference to see BP ladies ever, more power to you! My motto is some will, some won't, so what! There is however no need to trash those who are on BP nor the gents who see BP gals. This goes for both providers and gents. Do what you are comfortable with and enjoy yourself! Both providers and clients are seeking the same thing! We have more in common than many realize! We all just want a safe place to get a great experience, then be on our merry way back to our real lives!

I think there is more than enough of us to go around and around and around safely no matter where we advertise or choose not to advertise. No matter whom we choose to see or whom we choose not to see.

It seems the can of worms on BP has once again been opened! Those who don't see BP ladies that are indeed and obviously legit providers and can prove it are losing out on many pleasurable experiences but that's their CHOICE to make!

The questions seems to be... to BP or not??? All I know is I'm super excited to be in the NW suburbs offering a NEW Ultimate Pampering Massage Double to those in need and I advertise on BP. I also am on P411, RS2K and have extensive reviews here and I think that is what matters most!

Wishing EVERYONE Many Happy Endings, Kendall  :)

.... really it's how you research/screen (ladies and gents) & market yourself that makes all the difference.

That isn't true.

How many scams are reported here from providers that are listed on P411, TER, Date-check or RS2K? How many posts linked back to backpage?

Not that you don't need to be careful in all situations, using backpage increases your risks.

Yes if you do the proper research it probably works, I wouldn't know.

...how I screen PERIOD regardless of where I place an ad. I've heard my share of busts coming from flipped/infiltrated accounts on P411 (clients & providers) and RS2K. If you do proper research there is a very high chance you'll be just fine no matter where you look or advertise...that I know.

I just scanned backpage for my area. (Incalls)  I found a total of 8 ads.  I only scanned about 1.5 days.

Legit = 1 (reviewed on TER with a performance rating above 3) Well rated gal I've considered seeing)
Rip-off = 4  (posted to TER) Fake pics, upsells, and dudes that end up jerking themselves off.
no reviews = 3

Yes it was a very limited survey.

Most to all the rip-offs can be eliminated by searching TER.   For the cost of one or two rip-offs you can get full TER privileges for a year.  The downside is that yes you are likely paying more using a reliable service.

Recently murdered provider in Gary, answered ad.
Favorite hangout of Sheriff Dart. Piles up busted hobbyists like cordwood.
Actively works with law enforcement, per their sr attorney.
Scammers, fake pictures, legit human trafficing and under age issues.
Multiple robberies in the Chicago area.
Under fire from 41 different state Attorney Generals.

My sainted momma once told me, "you are known by the company you keep."
Backpage is a perfect example of that.

If you want to be there, knock yourself out. I won't be ringing your doorbell.

From a practical perspective, they may decide the business isn't worth the trouble. Like Craigslist did. Then you need to find a new marketing venue

Ok, had the females properly screened the guy who went on a killing spree in Gary, this would not be an issue. As far as law, scammers, fake pictures, human trafficking AGAIN....RESEARCH & SCREENING! All that can be easily done on ANY site including RS2k, P411, Date-Check if there's a will, there's a way...Point Blank!

Also the OP is doing his part by researching and asking questions, which I thought that's the point of this board.

Everyone advertise where they see fit, search where they see fit and be safe about it and that's all that matter. Also what may be good for one person may not be good for the next but this is just part of life. Good day to all!!!

All that you say is very very possible and easily avoided with good research.

You think verification sites are safe. All they have to do is get a court order to reveal the client list.

Heck if the Feds could open up the books of the mighty Swiss Banks you think a puny little verification site stands a chance once the Govt. gets interested.
