I stay avil on holidays..so of my gents are no family ...or really the only time with time off from work so holiday time is play time!!
... seriously, we are supposed to have 100% chance of rain and thunderstorms all weekend. Perfect weather to stay inside.
Myself and two of the fabulous FL ladies I assist may get together for some wet-n-wild fun. A hobbyist friend from Tampa is coming into town for some much needed R&R so Keezy and I are taking him out for dinner & drinks while afterwards he enjoys dessert with a lady friend 
I have a new addition to my family as of yesterday...a 2nd fur baby! She's a beautiful pit rescue about 1 year old. The puppy park may be a bit wet for the dogs here. Glad we did that yesterday.
Attend a church service Sunday for a Memorial Service to remember those who died while serving our Country and a prayer service for our Country and those who serve currently.
Regardless of what you do, please stay safe and have fun!

Toni sounds like you have it all in order, congrats. Taking a rescue is really great, I have two yellow babies, bu t not rescues and admire you heart.
...it was also totally unexpected (I wasn't looking for another dog). She needed help and the series of events directed her rescuers to me. It made it right for me to take her in. I am a firm believer that things happen for a reason.

... it was a bright and sunny. Everyone enjoyed an afternoon at the beach yesterday. The "fun forecast" was correct and there was a ton of fun with a little rest and relaxation mixed in. Great time was had by all!

Nothing more relaxing to me than soaking up the florida sun. If it rains all the more enjoyable to me ... For Floridians they call the raindrops liquid sunshine and the pool is awesome to float in while it rains.
