I missed you all too!!!! I love my sciences and history! I have taken computer classes before (and did very well) but that was a long time ago and things have changed big time!!! LOL

I majored in business and computer science, and the electives I enjoyed most were Literature and Composition.   Studying our language and its many forms has always been of interest to me.    And it makes a person feel and look smarter to be able to communicate more effectively  :-)  Good luck in your studies!

Well I would love to take a class where I get to see young men in football uniforms... Do I get credit for that? Make them do exercises then meet them in the showers? That would be a real fun elective! I will check to see if they have that one in the catalog!!!

i was a science major at an all male liberal arts college although we did have a few female students who could spend a semester at the college. In order satisfy graduation requirements, I had to take some classes outside my major. I chose studio because one of the female students posed for the studio art class. When she posed, she had my "full" attention.

I hope to be every Professors favorite student (or just a pain in the ass!!! ) LOL ~~ I am going to sit in the front of every class (in something adorable) and ask questions. All the time! So, he will be pleased yet annoyed after a while! :)

I took a Phys Ed class, because I needed something to keep my ass in shape.   I also took a Biology supplement class that took us to places like Botanic Gardens, Shed Aquarium, the Lincoln Park zoo, and a few other places was a great practical way to apply what I learned in books

Science or any class that teach about a culture that you don't belong to(world history, a minority's history/discussion, religion's studies,etc)

If you are going to pay an arm and leg for a higher education, learn how the the world works and the people that wasn't in your hometown interact. I mean college is suppose to shape you into a well rounded person.

I saw those electives and seen the "Humanities" classes that they offer and are required to take.  I am old enough to know how the world works and have been around to know about world history and I have researched that on my own for fun (I love history!) ~ Greek Mythology is fun and World History is ok.  Modern History, well not my cup of tea. I know about religious studies and that is definitely not for me! I have taken foreign languages and that takes up to much of my time. I was thinking something fun that I could take that would also be educational. As long as you are learning something new that is what is important!!!

I am not looking for anything other than saying "hi" and adding some fun to the board where it so needs it from time to time. I needed a break in between my school stuff and here is where I get to take it! It is my enjoyment! Ok. Well best of luck to you "I guess???" I am not very good with gambling and odds. So, 4/1 under? Does that mean that odds are that I am coming back and you are betting I am? Well, I am sorry honey! But my regular "friends" don't really count ,... do they!  

I actually would not consider my "discussion ~ post " on this board an AD as to I am not looking for anything other than a conversation and some good ideas. As to what I have always wanted! Some people liked my posts and others did not. That has always been fine with me! It is always fun to post fun things! Everyone should enjoy what they post. Whether it be positive or negative! I wish everyone to enjoy these fun posts when I can post them! Since I do not see others  (miss you Courtney!) therefore this is not an Ad but this would be up to you all I suppose (or the Hobbyist/Provider Gods!) LOL!! Have fun everyone!!!

There are other bets hinging on that date.

I thought that the original line on you was 2/1...hence my asking the odds maker(s) (GaGambler) for a ruling on your case.  I of course took the under on that as well...and since today is only 1/19 I believe that I picked a winner.

So as you post...are seeing regular friends part of the retirement plan.  Maybe you should list out who is in that circle?  That would help.

So far all I can assume is that macdaddy is one.  I'm sorry about that.

Seems like this was a pretty upbeat thread.  

If anything I should be the pissed off one...as I thought for sure I had a lock on the bet.  But at least it got moved to another line...and I'm sure I'll be cleaning up on that bet  LOL

This spring semester, I started Human Sexuality that I already have taken during my Bachelor's at another university and another one is Human Growth and Development, which I had in the past as well. These are fun classes.  

I remember choosing U.S. Constitution and Nutrition classes as my electives in the past. These are useful in real life.

You are asking about paying for blow off classes. Take something you need for your degree or something related to it don't waste your money on classes you don't need.

 I have been getting everything ready for my classes for my new semester coming up! I have some serious classes! Anyone know Pre-Calculus , Biology 1 for Science Majors, and some other fun classes? I have to come up with these crazy classes that I forgot about! Now to think of electives!!!  
   
 If you had to take an Elective in College or had already taken Electives what did you take or what would you take.... for fun or just to take! I am going to get my Degree in Biological Science so have fun with your answers!!! I would love to hear them!!!

Thanks for your opinions honey! I really appreciate them! That is pretty much what I was thinking. I love Microbiology and Pathology (go figure, right!) I was looking into something around those classes!
