Don't really care for nightclubs. More into nice restaurants, spa, maybe some shopping, etc.
I have stayed at the Fontainbleau, and it was GREAT! But I have also heard great things about W. Any other ideas?
Or would Naples be better?

I would rather take my lady to the beach and have sex on the beach. Miami beach should be for lovers without any exception. Freedom, nature, beach, ocean and sex are all natural and let it stay that way.
If you're looking for restaurants, spa, shopping, I sat the St. Regis in Bal Harbour! Miami is (respectfully), a lot of nightlife - it sounds like Bal Harbor is more your cup of tea, plus the luxurious Bal Harbor shops are right next door
