I recommend Robert Graham shirts. They look great on any size guy and they range from simple to very wild. Also some slick shoes. Ladies notice shoes.

So my trip to Vegas is just over two weeks out and I am contemplating what to pack.  I figure shorts and casual shirts for the daytime stroll in and out of casinos but the night time attire seems tricky.  One night we are having dinner at a steakhouse and the other nights just gambling around.  I'm almost 50 (which is the occasion to go to LV) and I like to dress comfortable but stylish or at least what a guy my age believes to be stylish!  Any suggestions?  I still have time to make a few purchases if I somehow missed the fashion mark over the past few years.

I guess I might as well ask the ladies what they expect or prefer a guy to wear when they stop by for an incall visit?  I would love to create a little attraction or interest when she arrives.

But I think a good rule of thumb is shorts and sandals or sneakers during the day and slacks and a shirt with buttons after 5pm. (even golf shirts have buttons)
I like to see that the guy put even just a few minutes into choosing what he wears for me when I show up. He doesn't have to be fancy but slouchy is not as stimulating. Of course more important that the threads is that he is freshly showered

Shorts and casual shirt for day.To wear for dinner at the steakhouse dress slacks short sleeve button down shirt and casual or dress shoes.
Golf shirt with some khaki's works too.
As long as it is comfortable for you it is still hot out here so you don't want to wear something that will make you sweat alot.
Have fun!

Unless you plan to go to a very upscale restaurant or club which may have a dress code, most of the places are pretty casual when it comes to attire.  Even many of the top restaurant on the strip, I see folks dressing very casual.  That's what's nice about Vegas, since I hate having to dress up when I'm on vacation.

I'm a bit older than you (just turned 60), but about 99% of the time I wear nice jeans and a casual shirt (e.g. polo shirt) whether I'm just casino hopping, going to shows, or dining at various restaurants.  That's been my basic Vegas attire for the past 10 yrs. LOL  Although, I do pack some business casual clothes (dockers slacks and comfortable button shirts) for the evening, if I'm planning to take my date out to dinner at a nice restaurant.

I usually eat at Sinatra at The Encore where they have a dress code. I wear a suit no tie. Over Christmas I noticed men wearing a full suit (tie and pocket square) but that was Christmas. If you plan ahead and have a provider you two can coordinate your attire. For shows people dress casual. For other evening attire I'd wear business casual.

You are so correct Goldie! I own several and all look different. I get comments about them all the time from women.

They have 3 company owned stores. Fashion Show Mall and Grans Canal shops and a Robert Graham outlet store in the Las Vegas North Premium Outlet

I just got back last night from a trip to Las Vegas.  When I was playing blackjack, two of the guys sitting at the table told me that they got thrown out (or more correctly, refused to be seated) at a steakhouse at Bellagio.  So....if you are planning to go to a fancy place, make sure you check if there is a dress code beforehand.
