...may I add The Trump International and The Fountainbleau.  All of these hotels are very convenient and near fabulous restaurants. The fun hotels that are in the heart of South Beach such as The Shore Club, SLS, The Delano are all great but not as easy to access. Although season is ending and things are not as hectic, Miami is always vibrant and busy. Traffic getting to those hotels can be a bit congested.  

There are hundreds of great restaurants a short Uber ride from wherever you decide to stay. The Bazaar at SLS Hotel, Mr. Chow at The W are just two of my favorites in South Beach.

I like the Grand Beach Hotel -Surfside. Plus,  it's just a short drive (less than a mile) to Haulover (the nude beach).  

There is more nightlife and hip places in South Beach, but I prefer the natural beauty of the beaches in the North Beach area.  South Beach is ground shell, North Beach is soft sand and the water is crystal.

Hotel Yves is right across the Port of Miami in a very trendy downtown. It is a Super cute boutique hotel with good deals and a delicious bistro and bar attached. It is small, not the place you would want to have a lot of clients in and out, but classy and sweet to entertain few friends over a few days.
