Actually, I don't know the protocol for taking pics at the Fan Show.
Assume I can use my phone camera and I'll bring a decent pocket cam as well. But are fans allowed to shoot pics whenever and wherever they want? I would think asking permission, especially asking first if a star will pose with you is the way to go. Plus do some or all charge for solo pics or posing with a fan
some models charge for photos with them. If you want photo just by themselves I think its free! well for me it is..

I met him on set once. I don't work in the industry but was invited to see the shoot BTS by one of the producers.
RJ walked in about halfway through the day with a barely 18-ish looking blond waif wearing near-see-through white blouse and slacks on his arm. Still use that visual footage of her...
But he was not exactly dressed (or showered) to impress. Still give the legend his due. After all the waif was with him, not me.
Back in the days (rather, nights) of The Naked I Cabaret in Boston's Combat Zone, I saw some guy come in with two skinny blondes on his arms. They were not dancers from the Naked I. Their behavior was a little more, eh, evocative and loud than the regulars but no one really objected and the bouncers didn't have to do anything. It wasn't until later that I realized that it was RJ. For those who remember the Naked I, RJ and his gals spent most of their time in the back room (smaller stage / pit)
I have a few with him. I went some video rental conventions for video stores. There was one in AC each year. They had an adult section. It was there you could get pictures.
At one of the shows I was relaxing after the events closed and was sitting in a very small lounge sipping drinks and people watching. I heard a bunch of people walk in and became loud. I looked and it wss Ron with like 5 hot new porn stars. He looked over and apologized for the noise. He then asked me to slide my table over. They closed the section for us an then I spent until like 4:00 am drinking and hearing stories from him.
The cool part was people would walk by and look in at us. It was one of the greatest nights ever.
