Clearthynker...I've never run across what you describe. If I did, my inclination would be to try get out as politely and as compassionately as possible.
You have to ask yourself a couple of questions:
Do you want to give her some money to extricate herself from this situation? She may just give it to the person exploiting her in the first place. She may also be scamming you.
Do you want to confront the exploiter? Are you ready to go all Robert DeNiro from "Taxi Driver" all over him or her? Probably not.
I'm at a loss as to other possibilities.

I agree that intervening or the offer to try to would be a humane attempt to do a good deed. I was barred from your ATF agency and you are barred from my ATF agency but the funny thing is I was told by providers that I saw on a personal level (because they do have personal life's) that your agency wanted me to use the service because things are VERY slow there. Now that was from the providers them self's and I know its true because MANY days I was in the room hanging with them waiting because they had NO business.On one occasion they had 6 girls working and my friend was the drop off for the money for that day and she told me of 6 girls only one came by she had one date ALL DAY.Thats what she told me not sure her motive to lye.
