Gentlemen (and providers, too!), a question for you... if I may. ;-0

I was wondering this afternoon about temporal patterns to hobbying activities; to be more specific, I am curious as to whether there exist calendar "hot spots" -- that is, times of increased hobbyist/provider trysts -- within our little TER community (Boston and the broader US).

Being somewhat "new"*(please see note below for clarification on this term) to this industry, I have noticed trends over time based on my own limited experiences, and there are some obvious "big picture" patterns I have noticed, but I am almost certain there are more subtle and specific clusters of activity during the times I have yet to indulge the sensual desires of hobbyist suitors. And with the holidays coming up, I quite frankly have no idea what to expect.

It seems that the summer is always just a bit slower -- a logical trend, as many families (including their patriarchs) use this school vacation -time to travel, get in some "down-time", and play a few more rounds of golf. This finding was even more evident for July and August.

Another broad observation of mine based solely on my own findings suggests that incall visit requests may be most concentrated on Tuesdays and Fridays, and to be even more specific, that these requests are the heaviest during the late morning to early afternoon hours.

However, I am wondering what one might anticipate for the winter months, particularly those leading up to and immediate following the holidays (mid-November to mid-January). What is the holiday rhythm, or is there none?

PROVIDERS: Beautiful ladies: have you had experiences that either corroborate or refute the trends I mentioned above? Are there any other patterns that you have noticed, either regarding times of day or days of the week or months/seasons that seem most in demand (sheerly in terms of the number of appointment requests you receive)?

Thinking about all this his leads me to my larger question (predominantly for the HOBBYISTS): Are there days (or times of days), months, or seasons during which you wonderful gentlemen enjoy hobbying most, all other things being equal (company, location, price point, menu offerings, etc.)? Also, if you could, please note if you are an incall or an outcall type of guy, or if you do both (in the case of the men who travel often). I am anticipating that one's timing preferences may be contingent on the type of appointment sought?

Further, are there times of day/week/year that you tend to book longer appointments or overnights, or are there "hot spots" that are solely characterized by shorter appointments? What about duos?

This is pretty interesting to me. This industry really is a microcosm of the larger professional world and, I imagine its activities replicate the patterns and trends of the industries surrounding -- and intersecting/interacting with -- it.

Ladies, I think there is a lot to be gained for this type of information too, and perhaps we can use it to be better prepared during those busy times (using the predictably slower times for rest and "me time") and, consequently, better serve the hobbyists we adore.

** The self-descriptor "new" has led to some minor disagreement in a recent post of mine, so to be clear here, I am not professing to be totally "virginal" in this world. I have been meeting new friends and making dreams come true -- or, at least, fulfilling fantasies!! -- for almost 8 months now and have a reasonable number of reviews to support this assertion. However, in this world, there is only so much "research" one can conduct by doing online digging and chatting with others who are more knowledgable; as with many things, there is no replacement for actual "real life" experience and the trial and error and inevitable mistakes we all make sometimes -- certain ones being more public than others. ;) Given the vast -- seemingly limitless -- landscape of information and important, even critical, details -- I am certainly "new" and likely will be for several months until I am more familiar with the nuances of the provider role and the braod spectrum of hobbyists and scenarios that might "pop up", pun intended. Therefore, while your definition of "new" may differ from mine, that is not the point of this post, and hopefully we can just agree to disagree on that one. Differences are, after all, what make the world an interesting place

While meeting a nice woman to spend some relaxing, enjoying fun with whenever I can, I find it difficult in the summer/fall and during the holidays.  The infrequent times that I can carve some time away from work and other responsibilities is spent with family/friends doing outside activities or holiday events/planning.

I find that after the holidays - January thru April - I have more independent time, so it's easier for me to carve some time out to enjoy this hobby.

Interesting post Quinn - I enjoy your questions ;-)

Let's see, the weekend usually brings about "regular relations" at home.  Wednesday is between weekends and happens to be a convenient day to sneak off, so---

Interesting questions Quinn. I am a casual hobbyist and I sort of jump in in spirts. Might have a couple appointments in a month and then not for 3 or 4 months.  There is no rhyme or reason to it.

What is important to me is a provider with an incall location (preferable in Boston proper or Cambridge) as I live north of the city and take commuter rail in so I don't have a place to entertain.  As a result I often end enjoying the company of visiting girls.  I would love to find one or two girls that are local and have incall option here in Boston that can have a somewhat regular connection with.

Hope this helps and feel free to pm if u have any questions

Oh - and as it relates to time of day... I like mornings for 2 reasons the first being what better way to start your day ;-) and second from a work perspective it always seems easier to carve time out in he am as meetings always seem to pop up as the day progresses.

After you retire you should write a book about what have learned about your experiences, I am sure it is a field that has never been seriously studied, it would perhaps remove ( or not) some of the negative repution that the mainstream public has about business
