of the (Tampa) Bay in the morning rush hour can take well over an hour for the 18-20 miles. The same goes for the drive back west towards Clearwater anytime between 4 and 6:30pm. Many people live in Pinellas Co. (Clearwater, St. Petersburg, etc.) and work in Tampa.

As was also stated, the Westshore area (about a mile or so from the Tampa airport) is a favorite place for visiting providers. Many hotels to choose from with good parking. Parking in downtown Tampa is a pain.

When your dates are finalized, be sure to post an ad on the Florida Ad board. I checked your website as well as several of your reviews You should get some quality business, depending on when you visit.

Good luck.

Hi there...
I am Summer The One, MAN oh MAN I REALLY belong in Florida, Dolphins fan too!
For reasons beyond, Philly is where I have rooted.

SO, I am coming to visit friends in CLEARWATER, flying into Tampa!
MY QUESTION....Is clearwater a provider type town? Is it more Tampa?
I have no clue on this one, so I am reaching out to the Floridians, Can ya help a Philly girl out? :-)
 Thanks in advance

I think you might find that it is easier to get clients on the Tampa side of the bay.  Clearwater is nice and very near some great beaches, but it is a little isolated from the major population center of the area.  You have to either drive way out of the way, or have to cross one of a couple long, four lane causeways to get from Tampa to Clearwater/St. Petersburg.  That, coupled with some pretty bad traffic at rush hours, might deter some would-be customers.

Also, you might consider Sarasota.  There seems to be a dearth of providers in that area.  Also, traffic is a bit better and the beaches are phenomenal.  But ... it is a hike from Tampa for those possible customers.

But, that is just one opinion.  I would be interested in what the local providers have to say.

Either way, welcome to Florida and I hope you enjoy your stay!

Thanks so much.... From a google search it said Tampa airport was about 18 miles from ClearWater.
That is easy enough.
I will google the hike from Sarasota to Tampa
THANKS...Like i said I have no clue so anything helps ;-)
I won't be coming for a little bit but wanted to get a heads up

welcome and happy to hear you are coming to visit.

Do you know when you are coming down this way??If by chance it is sometime in
May keep me informed.  We (Softly Sarah and myself) will be hosting another
meet and greet in Tampa probably in May.  You should come!!

As far as clients, most gents love the westshore area of Tampa as its pretty
easy to get too. Agree Clearwater and Sarasota are a distance.  If I can help
out in any other way, let me know.
