If you're looking to make your fortune in porn, forget it . The porn industry is not like it was in many years past, where the girls commanded big bucks. There's just too much free stuff out there to make the big bucks like Jenna Jameson and others did.
If you just want to get paid for having sex on camera, check out what they said above. Unfortunately, I cannot add anything to what they said.
IMHO, you would make more money just being an escort. You could always always allow your clients to video your encounters.

I don't think porn shoots ever really every brought in much money. My understanding, at least back in the day, was that getting a name in porn was to increase pay for touring and doing striptease shows. (maybe providing on the side??)
People like Vicky Vette (vickyathome dot com) -- who seems to be one of the hardest working women in porn -- stopped doing porn shoots and created her cam show network -- including a stable of other performers
