Your First Amendment right...

You may have the right to post anything you want, that DOES NOT mean you should post everything on your mind.

Several threads (one recent) on this board  (as well as GD) remind me of the advice/admonishment at work: "once the email goes out, you cannot control its consequences, nor can it be recalled".

We all trip up eventually; I have received my fair share of unexpected harsh replies. I detect a few cardinal rules:

1) Keep a sense of humor and wear a thick skin. There are folks out here whose idea of fun is to push the button and watch you go ballistic.

2) Don't try to "fix" things via the boards. The vast majority of TER practitioners are adults and are forgiving until you drag them into the muck.

3) Even when you speak Gods' truth people will disagree with you. Get over it.

Fer sure, there are many other....

1) Don't drink and post.  Such a post can/will look really stupid the next morning.

2)  Don't post from a cell phone.  Too easy to post something you don't want to post.

And no DT, I don't deep throat!

I have learned to let some gents know ahead of time!

It's just a hooker board. Don't take it too seriously. Those that take it too seriously come off very creepy in person... lol!
