I recently responded to an Ad by a xxx video producer in NC and I was told I would be paid $150 for a 20 minute session with a girl 1 on 1. Does that sound normal?
Don't know so I googled and found CNBC article that suggested 500- 1500- i'm imaging that's a LA company- or a brazzers or another big outfit- sounds like you are dealing with a more low budget outfit so that might be the going rate for that level production

I'm going to GUESS that it takes 4-8 hours to get enough video to cut together into one 30-60 minute scene.
That is, the top guy isn't making $1000 per 20 minute scene or even $1000 per hour, he's making $1000-$2000 per day to make 1 or 2 scenes. That's a GUESS! Anybody got some real info
I just gave real info from a director that worked for Evil Angel, West Coast Productions and others. The rates are per scene for the men and ladies and I'm sure the times on set will vary a great deal.
You are forgetting each scene has a "photo" shoot with still pictures. Etc.
But yes to think a male talent makes $100 or $1000 for 20 mins of work is not at all correct.
I would say (like mentioned above) is each scene takes around 5 hours or so to complete if not longer.
Due to long holiday weekend I was not able to reach the agent I spoke last week. The guy gave more details and it is not that they want me for any traditional hardcore xxx videos. It is just softcore sex scenes as in the movies but with a difference. It ends with actual sexual intercourse with the girl using protection. About $150 for 20 minutes, it is because I am a newcomer and an amateur and it can go up to $350 if I am liked. He promised at least 3 takes in a day which is not bad. Although the agent is in NC, filming will be done in Miami. According to him, videos will be sold to internet sites.
Top male talent (Kieran Lee, Manuel Ferrara, etc.) can probably command a rate of $1,000+ per scene. Most male talent hired from the talent agencies are anywhere from $500-$700. One "big name" guy I hired for my site was $800 a scene. New male talent (not represented by an agency) usually range from $0-$300. The most I've paid for an amateur (unknown) guy was $500 for a day long BDSM scene.
I made 5 videos of 20 minutes each with 5 different girls one on one and got $3,500 by Adam & Eve Productions. I thought it was not bad at all. Only downside was I was under pressure to cum within the last 45 seconds in each video shoot. I had never fucked girls with 3 guys, a lighting man and a couple of cameramen watching and videotaping me and the girl from 10 feet away. Other than that me and the girls had full freedom to do what we liked and all the girls were awesome. I had never seen such a collection of most beautiful blondes with fake boobs.
