dress very warm and head 5 miles north to the Chicago Botanical Garden. A truly eerily beautiful place in early winter.
The Bahai temple is about a twenty minute gander until it's time to go down all those steps. Nice view of the storm sewer system and the source of a crapload of suburban Chicago's drinking water. Truly a strange, strange town.I am originally from Georgia and recently moved to NJ...Chicago has been on my radar for a while I am wondering what are some of the top attractions you would recommended me seeing ?
est board anywhere!
No but I'll do it now. Just for you. That's your policy correct? After someone else likes it
Lol, yes, my policy when you're on the thread checking!
Check out the Chicago Architecture Foundation and Frank Lloyd Wright tours . Those are both go to's when I have people visit. Hop on a train and explore a neighborhood I'm partial to Wicker Park / Bucktown there is great, shopping, cafes, coffee, music and art. We also have amazing restraunts treat yourself to a great meal.
Thanks everyone . I will definitely keep this in mind.
