I lived in Fla many years and went threw lots of hurricanes..I always get scared..I live alone just me and my lil dog,,so i have my hurricane kit ready/!!

will be bombarding us 24/7 with their crap of non-stop hurricane coverage. Thank goodness for cable channels lol (and it's a good time to get rid of DirecTv cuz you won't get a signal to save your life!!!)
If it comes this way, I'm heading to my brother-in-law's house - that's where our hurricane party will be. He has a built in generator that can run the whole house including A/C and we always stock up on party food and enough water for weeks.
Everyone stay safe and don't forget to stock up on all the goodies you'll need.

My mom was with me and she was wheelchair bound. Scared shitless from the devastation Andrew left behind I moved to Central Florida and wouldn't you know Charlie did much more damage in the Orlando area than Andrew did in Pompano. We were without Electric from 3 storms in a row for 30 days here in Orlando. You never know where those winds might blow and predictions can take a very quick turn with little notice. Charlie was suppose to hit Tampa but Punta Gorda got the direct strike and was devastated.
Have plenty of water and food ready for me and my little dog. Flashlights and weather radio have new batteries ready for use. It's a wait see till it hits.
