They have a drug that will work for you

I have been out of the hobby since February when I was operated on for prostate cancer.  Cancer is now gone and tests continue to come back good.  Whew!

Since then I have plenty of desire, but no ability to raise the flagpole,(as it were).  Doc says it MIGHT return in a year or so, but for now I can receive some pleasure, but can only return the favor orally.   Have any of you providers had to deal with men in my condition before? Is there any hope for me?

And there are ladies to help.  Be honest with the lady up front.  Some will turn away, a few will become your new ATF's

PSA is now a big part of my life too. so is enjoying the hobby. The prostate pecker problem can be overcome in all aspects.  It is sometimes hard to stay positive but it sure beats the alternative. To borrow the old line, Take up golf!  Golf is a socially acceptable way to whack off or beat your head against the wall.

I hope the side effects end soon!  Have you tried using Viagra or Cialis?

Dr has me on Viagra.  it has had some effect, but to date it has been very minimal.  I am hoping that with some therapy and continued use of the pills, my condition will continue to improve.

I had the same problem 2.5 years ago, don't feel like the lone ranger.  None of the pills had any effect so I asked my Doc about injection therapy.  It may sound creepy, injecting your johnson, but some of us will do anything to get hard again.  (I'm reminded of that great Richard Pryor line "When I was young my dick was harder than Chinese arithmatic!")  Lately, I've gone back to Viagra and a cock ring and that works great.  There's a lot going on down there and it really does take time for the healing to occur, a long time.  So talk with your doc and give injections a serious thought.

Post Prostate surgery can be tough on sex but there are solutions. Work with a good Urologist in a big city hospital
Pills, penile injections and best of all a penile implant are all solutions depending on your situation.  It may take a while to work thru all the alternatives and some may not work for you physically or emotionally.
Like the hobby,  YMMV with each one..
