Hello boys and girls,

I am headed back to Boston and, even though I know the city pretty well by now, I am always in search for that mind blowing gastronomic experience! Or just a bloody good cocktail.

Can anyone impart any hidden gem knowledge my way ?

I have family visiting in a few weeks and I will be bringing them to Boston also. So recommendations welcome.

Thanking you muchly!

the food is amazing. It is japanese with an all you can eat raw bar. they have cooked items and sushi as well and they have amazing drinks as well. it is a must try

Casablanca.     Delicious  spanish/moorsh TAPAS at 1700 beacon st brookline.........and an added treat at that restaurant.......I will tell you when u PM me.......related to Sid James.  Remember ???

It's a great place, completely agree, but called Barcelona.  Fantastic wine list and great small plate/tapas selection.

If you like Spanish tapas, you have to hit up Toro. They don't take reservations, so plan to wait at least a few minutes. I promise it's worth it, though!!

Craigie on Main is probably Boston's best restaurant. And it's a few steps from Toscanini's, Boston's best ice cream. If you want to impress someone, Craigie is the way to go.

My favorite sushi place is Oishii. It's pricey at $90 omakase but it's amazing.

For the best brunch ever, go to the Langham Hotel's Sunday brunch. SO MUCH raw seafood omg.

Eastern Standard, Marliave, and Fogo De Chao (unlimited meat and the best meat in Boston) are my three main go-tos.

A guy said the exact same thing to me in the ice cream aisle yesterday at Shaws as he recommended Turkey Hill Double Dunker, after I spent 20 minutes trying to make a decision.  I thought it was cute and took his recommendation.

I agree with Fogo De Chao and Langham Sunday brunch.  If you like cheeseburgers there's Hillstone's in Fanuiel Hall/Quincy Market. And, you can stroll down to Fire and Ice Bar, grab a parka and a cocktail.

I have to admit I'm also a Barking Crab fan...no real good reason, I just am.

There are so many great places in Boston, my mouth is watering thinking about it.

Bon appetit 🍷🍸

Totally agreed on Barking Crab!! Just make sure you go during lunch hours because you don't want to deal with those crowds.

There is a feast every weekend in the north end. Great atmosphere for people that have never visited and there is great Italian on Hanover, prince and endicott. Modern pastry for taking home bakery and cafe Vitoria for sit down dessert and people watching.  Also pink berry for a lighter dessert after mother Anna's pasta

I am not a big dessert person but if I indulge I love that place.
Tiramisu and an Irish coffee yes definately to the ppl watching! My fav...

there are so many restaurants to choose.
I too love Clio BUT not for a large party, its very cramped in there but an intimate corner table and dinner for 2...perfection. It goes without saying the foods fabulous...

Grill 23 great steak I love their Almond crusted Tuna, its on the menu but they dont always have it.

The no name restaurant if you want some yum yum YUMMY seafood no nonsense there its all about the food. dress down and wear comfy shoes park in a lot walk the pier before and after dinner or lunch. Also good for ppl watching.

What a wonderful list of places to try..

Saus next to Fanueil--- Went here with a friend this weekend. It's really evil, belgian waffles, dark ales and corndogs, but damn good.

If you like oysters B&G in the south end is awesome!! I have yet to try anything else on the menu though lol

Cocktails...It's been at least a year since I indulged but there is a bar across from the walgreens in dtxing where you can get delicious drinks.

This food talk is making me wet! Perhaps belgian waffles are in the cards for breakfast :))

We should have a provider meet up at some point! I don't have a VIP membership yet so I can't PM lol but email me any time :o)
