From what I know the book is about half true and the rest is fabricated.  How does someone who can't remember the name of the first client of the day and who stayed up partying and not going home for days keep a diary?

Read carefully between the lines and you'll soon realize that the underlying theme is disdain for most of her clients. She lives a life of never ending lies then expects us to believe everything she says?  She has hatred for the business then when she becomes a madam she acts like she's "saving" all those girls from horrible lives.  She's really dragging them down.

She's a sociopath who lives in a world of lies and will say just about anything to anyone for her own benefit.  Are the stories hot?  Sure.  But everything is written to make her look like a hero and those of us who were around at the time know differently. I'll take the "over" side of any bet that she returns to the business.

its obvious you never met JR .   she is an intelligent classy and professional woman.    I knew her well both in and outside of the hobby.   all those that also knew her know i don't need to spend many words defending her against someone who has no idea from which he speaks from an alias handle.

she was a wonderful madam, both in treating the girls fairly, taking a lower percentage than most and interviewing the clients to insure they matched up with the most appropriate girl.

please keep your uninformed, inflammatory and slanderous comments to yourself.     Now It would be nice to hear from someone who actually read the book  :)

Please lets keep our threads civil.

I also knew her before and after she became a madam so you're welcome to your opinion but don't for a minute think you have all the facts.

She lied to everyone about her "unregistered cell phone" and the security on her website which supposedly could erase everything without a trace.  When her "partner" emailed all her clients using data she claimed she didn't store, she made up a bullshit excuse about the security breach that was never true.  She even admits that special security she claimed to have on her website to protect clients was a lie.  And she admits she had a substance abuse problem which in itself led to many many lies.

She was so wonderful that she took advantage of others with psychiatric problems who were clearly falling apart and used them to her own advantage.  It didn't take much to know that her olympic friend was not normal or that several of her girls were addicts or seriously damaged.

She was popular because she was a pathologic liar and told people what they wanted to hear and not what was true.  the problem is that she was using them and only treated them well if she had something to gain.

You are defending the public side of her business which you saw but not the other side which she tried to hide. Go back and read the book again thinking about what i'm saying and you'll see what i mean.  you should also go to a website about sociopaths.  if you really knew her then you will see she has every trait listed for this disease.  Don't be embarrassed.  Most people are fooled by sociopaths.

This disease is not cured by climbing mountains and looking at the stars. Don't worry.  She'll be back soon so you can see her again even though she claims to be out of the business. She's a sociopath so unless she gets treatment like her friend she will revert to her true self in the not too distant future

This sentence describes 99.99% of Las Vegas sex workers. I'm sure there is a 00.01% who aren't. I just haven't met them yet.

There, I said it.

I was a happy hobbiest and I wish all those who are, a very good and safe time. All the lovely ladies who sell their charms, I also wish the best. Just understand what you are getting into, be mindful of the pitfalls, and understand it's all an act of smoke and mirrors. Even her book admits that.
