Mid Strip can get hectic and hard to get to. I personally prefer the south end of the strip as Sahara has the tendency to get jammed up.
Downtown is easy to get too as well as surrounding strip most of the time.

Rental cars can get expensive and depending on how much your traveling Uber and Lyft are pretty cheap options

The Linq isn't bad and not too hard to get too, although the cell service is terrible lol

Hope this helps!

It appears I will have an overnight stay in Vegas - towards the end of May.
As much as I would like a longer stay and meeting (always wanted to try a dinner date with a lady), I will probably have to settle for an hour rendezvous. I am sure these questions are asked all the time; but Vegas changes, as do the hotels. i.e. Uber today may be different than Uber 8 months ago etc.

For the ladies:
Which is easier for you -
a. Downtown hotel
b. mid-strip
c. lower strip area

Questions for everyone
a. Is it rental car or Uber or cab or lyft

Question for everyone:
a. Which downtown hotel has the most updated rooms (i.e. Technology, TV, newer beds)

Question for everyone
a. What hotel has the best value for money (I stayed at Linq a year ago  -rooms were amazing, best TV's in Vegas, and they had a hash house)

Thank you all for your time, i do hope I will have the pleasure of enjoying Vegas, at least for a night

I guess it depends on the person and where they are traveling from.
I can get downtown,mid-strip,and lower strip area usually with no problem depending on the time of day and if there is an event in town.
Mid-strip does get busy at certain times of day and weekends. But even still I usually allow more time if that is the case.
Las vegas traffic can be unpredictable.
Use can use Uber from what I hear seems to be more convenient and cheaper than a cab(I don't have any first hand experience with Uber or Lyft)Since you are just coming for an overnight doesn't really make sense to rent a car unless you will be traveling a long distance.
I like Golden Nugget downtown rush tower is my fav but their other towers have also been updated as well.
Downtown Grand the hotel and rooms have been renovated as well.

The hotel for the best value well that is subject to change depending on the person and what they personally think is a good value.Everyone has their own definition of great value.
Enjoy vegas and have a great time:)

Answer: Any of the above is fine with me.

Answer: cab or Lyft is probably easier unless you want to venture away from the strip/downtown area.

 Question for everyone:
 a. Which downtown hotel has the most updated rooms (i.e. Technology, TV, newer beds)
Answer: Downtown Grand in my opinion. I like the property, food, and the rooms!

Answer: Depends on what is going on in town that week and how high the room rates are. Check out vegas.com to get an idea of what rooms are going for what rates during your stay. Always check direct as well since it might be a bit cheaper.

Good luck, and if you are looking for company please check out my reviews!
