Because there is no other way.  Tori is right.

Ask around your regional board and maybe the ISO board.  She could be a local in disguise with fake pics or worse.  Sometimes she may just be a local stripper or amateur "trying out the hobby" temporarily.  The area code on her number may help narrow it down to a more specific region.  She could also be a crook or LE.  Or she just might be a lady who keeps a very low profile and has her reasons.

If you feel lucky and go for it, use your big head and it could turn out well.  Watch for obvious BS like "running out to her car to get something" with your donation or a locked bathroom door.  But if you do TOFTT, please post about it or give her a review.  That's what I do, but I've been lucky so far.

Hey,

Seems theres all kinds of advise for working with established local providers.  I was checking the local EROS site and there's some really hot providers on tour here.  Most of them just have telephone numbers, occasionally email addresses, and rarely reviews.

I know what Tori will say - and I hear you - but is there any advise, beyond asking up front, for screening the provider.  A few are with agencies - that obviously would help, but the vast majority are indy's and that makes the going a bit more difficult.

Safety is paramount, no doubt.  Just looking for a few bits of advise.

If you check the TER to "real meaning" dictionary.....

Some might be reminded that TOFTT could also mean.... we told ya so, and possibly even ....it's not like you didn't know better

I would think that a provider who is independent with no reviews who is touring would be a warning sign that all is not well. How did she make the decision to tour a particular city in the first place? How does she know she will get enough business to cover the cost of airline tickets, hotels, etc? It seems to me that touring somewhere without any sort of reputation from reviews is putting the cart a bit before the horse, and brings the lady's common sense into question. It is difficult enough to get established in a single city until a lady has goten a few good reviews. To tour without a single review does not seem particularly prudent in my (graciously humble) opinion.

...I'm fairly confident she already knows what you're saying.  I interpretted her reply as a warning to avoid these ladies.  I would add that you check my advice given 13 threads below on this board about finding reviews (when at first there doesn't appear to be any).  This may help you find some reviews of these ladies.

Maybe she belongs to a popular board in her area and participates in some of the discussion posts.  Some ladies use the same username on every site/ad so you might be able to search that way.  Or you could do a search with her email/phone number on some of the popular boards to see if anyone has posted any rip off information or other complaints.  

She may be traveling to the area for non-work reasons and figured she'd see if there were any interested clients during her stay.  If she gets some great, otherwise she wasn't going there just for work anyway and it isn't a great loss.
