That is why so many folks including my self moved out of the area in the 1990's. They are cheap on pay but want a lot of money for real estate. During the mass exodus in the early 1990's for every 1 person moving in the state 10 would move out. Place sucks raw moose cock as far as I am concerned.

Hi
Can someone tell me why Boston hotels are expensive the next 2 weeks. Is there a convention or event going on

Boston hotels have a very high occupancy rate and have continued to raise rates.

Very few new rooms coming on the market even next year.

Tourists. Etc.

Would you prefer to be here now or in January?

It's more expensive then NY (which is a lot more of a tourist attraction

and given Boston as a destination city for conventions and tourist.

But there are about 3-4 hotels planned which, when complete, should bring Boston's hotel room prices in line.

In the meantime, Boston is ringed with several very nice hotels along the I-95/128 belt.  Those still have reasonable prices.

PM me if you and I'll name specific ones.

Clients like myself enjoy going to these hotels in order to avoid Boston traffic and parking hassles.

Growing up in a family full of hunting folk winning that damn Moose lottery in Maine was a big deal! An even bigger deal was what the heck were you going to do with all that Moose meat? Lots of moose balls in the sketti sauce on Sunday! Yummy!
