Newbee to provider contact

I posted this on the general discusion board but thought maybe I could get a fresh perspective at this forum too. Please read and respond with your experiences.

How does a newbee to hobbying establish himself as a safe customer and get responses to basic e-mails to promising reviewed providers from this site. I've been with one of the popular ones (based on the amount and quality of the reviews)on this site. I have e-mailed messages to 6 of the select providers in and/ or around the 951 area and beyond but no responses. [edited] Please some guidance from the experienced would be nice.

I read your plea on the National board as well, and I'm curious as to why outside of simple convenience or fuel costs to their respective incalls; why a neophyte would not take the path of least resistance and garner some pleasure as well as more future review credibility with the near infinite choices in the nearby 626, 818, 323, 310, 714, and 949 area codes?

A cursory research would conclude relatively few prolifically reviewed choices in the 951 and very near 909 area codes. Are your limited parameters forced through convenience and outcall mileage surcharges, or jurisdiction?

I hear you. Most of the e-mails through this site were to providers either in 714, 949 or 702.... I'm more than willing to slip into OC, SD or LA etc..
